300-miles On This Small Boat through Florida Wilderness - The Everglades Challenge Full Movie
The Everglades challenge is a 300-mile unsupported, expedition style race for kayaks, canoes, and small boats. You must propel your craft by either man power or wind, and you must be able to push your boat off the beach yourself, all of these things making it one of the most difficult small boat races in the country. The Tallulah canoe seemed like a perfect fit and we wanted to see if we were up to the challenge. Come with us as we try to avoid pythons, gators, dead fish, and a big black wall of doom!!
Thank you so much to Keen for sponsoring this video and making incredible footwear perfect for our lifestyle. Sleeping with the fishes. 😅 The most fun 64 minutes! Watching you surf the waves was a blast. Thank you for sharing the entire race in one reel. Congratulations, your both winners in so many ways! 🏆🏆
Amazing journey!!! You guys are the best always stepping out of the norm and doing great sailing adventures. Congrats! 🐬🌊💙

Looks like fun was had! Tough but fun! Be safe and keep rolling Tula team! 👍👍 Congrats on finishing the race! Nice job!! 👍👍
Can't deny it... that low in the water in the darkness of night gives me the heebie-geebies 🙂What a great maiden voyage for the new boat.
Great video I love how you went as far as you could every day and some of the things and the places you passed I'm glad you made it and had fun
That was so interesting! I have never been to Florida and found that shallow Florida Bay part so beautiful. You guys are such hard workers and adventurers. Thanks for the video.
The boat looks GREAT slicing through the water. Congrats on making this journey. Thanks for taking us along. I really enjoyed this video.
THIS is among the many reasons I've followed you all these years...your amazing "can do" spirit. In my youth, I was a waterman....my ideal summer was one where my bathing suit never totally dried out....and you guys are all about that life.

Oh yes! They are a really fantastic team. In my teens I started windsurfing on Lake Ontario and eventually both the Atlantic and Pacific coasts and the Caribbean. In my 30s switched to kitesurfing which took me to The Columbia River gorge, Thailand, South Africa, Australia. A back injury lead me into learning to scuba doing my PADI open water in Fiji and then Samoa and Hawaii. Now in my 60s I kayak fish 5 or 6 days a week. Life sure is sweet!!

I've been watching sailing channels for a few years now and I can't say that they all have gotten better with age but you all have certainly been stealing more and more of my attention. Keep up the great work!
So much fun watching the fruition of your labor pay off. Great job!
I did not know this type of racing existed, now I'm determined to try it. Again, so happy the work with CLC was successful. You 2 are such a great team, wonderful to see beautiful blue water again! I'm sure jetty girl missed you terribly. Be well & fair winds.
This is a joy!....and I don't watch movies anymore...too long. Thanks!
You two ROCK! Awesome adventure 🎉
What an accomplishment!!! Both the boat, and the race. Well done.
Watching you two I could imagine how people spread along coastlines. A small boat making as much distance it could in a day. Pulling ashore. Doing it again the next day and the next and the next. Untill one day the people just stayed. Great video!

Along coastlines? The Polynesians crossed entire oceans on multihulls just a bit larger. Coastlines are more dangerous than avoiding razor sharp reefs and all that.
You two are awesome... Congratulations... You designed, built and raced your boat. Clever kittens.
The water tribe rocks. My best friend and I wanted to do this but he died. Way too soon. RIP Walter Mayo. I will always miss you. Thank you for sharing this with us. You two are amazing and your trimaran too. PS. That snake makes a great meal.

Your storytelling while doing the race is fantastic! I really enjoyed following along!
I thoroughly enjoyed this trip. Thanks for taking us along! Safe travels ❤️
WOW Y'all never cease to amaze. Here there and everywhere around the world. I've slept on my boat some by myself but you take to to the next level. Thanks, thanks and more.
Well done - both the trip and video. Great that you chose a different boat and rig and did well. And skimming across Florida Bay under sail is a pleasure strictly reserved for small boats. Glad you got to do that.
That was amazing! And you have your adventure documented. Thank you for the hard work.
Bill and Sierra's Excellent Adventure.! Well Done.!
When storytelling is at its best, everything but the story is forgotten. You tell such great stories and are able to convey the hard work, difficult processes, frustration, uncertainty, and weariness which make the accomplishments, triumphs, joys, and growing resilience so satisfying and meaningful. There is a life truth in that for us all. Not all of us are called to the life you live but we do well to live as you live. Work hard. Work together. Dream Big. Bite big and chew fast! Celebrate! Sail on!!
You guys Rock! And yes, the man was right... your sailing trimaran is now my favourite too! Five stars, two thumbs up and a very big smile... xxx
So cool when my favorite KZread channels visit my stomping grounds... Thanks for a great video and good job on your adventure!
Ciara I just love how you've warmed up to camera used to be very bashful but now you've come of age and you are demonstrating the strong woman that you are and I so much admire and a deer that so thank you and I'm glad you've come of age

What an amazing 4 1/2 days !!! Congratulations. Seeing a part of the coast where I spent some of my teen years. You two are wonderful and the boat is gorgeous! Sad for the red tide and even more to see the devastation of the coasts of Captiva, Sanibel, etc. Best hour I've spent in a long time. Thank you so much !
You two are always doing the most interesting things, never boring. You will always remember these experiences. WTG!!
Awesome! Thanks for taking us along.
Wow. The episode covering the build of your boat was very good. This episode was fantastic. It did not seem like you were outside anywhere from your comfort zone throughout this adventure. Kudos to you both for taking on this challenge and for bringing us along.

I have never done anything like this and never considered it before. I like watching you guys and might start out small and get into it. Seems rewarding. Thanks guys!
I love the beautiful dancing shadow the trampoline makes on the outriggers when you are underway in the sunshine.😊
This was such an amazing adventure! You both are truly extraordinary! Congratulations! 🎉
Outstanding! Loved watching your adventure. Definitely on my bucket list.
Sounds amazing and tiring at the same time. Glad both of you and the boat made it in one piece. I like the name of the new boat. Keep the good stuff coming guys.
Awesome trip, congrats on finishing 🎉
Well done, that was a great adventure, you folks killed it.
I could not stop watching! Excellent adventure! Thanks for the great video!
Great adventure, thanks you for taking us along.
As a Sarasota native this is fun to watch. The red tide is a bummer, it's been really bad some years and very little others. I never heard of that race and I love the idea. Sailing isn't a skill of mine but I could learn. Your little boat rig is pretty cool for the bay and intercoastal waterway. Camping on the islands is fun, my brother and I used to take his canoe out to the ones behind Siesta Key or the ones behind South Lido beach. There are lots of rats and some rattlesnakes out there, so we took BB guns. I'd love to go down there and take a boat down to the Glades from Sarasota, if the red tide isn't bad the fishin' is incredible most of the way. Racing would be fun too. Thanks for showing this adventure.
Loved this episode. Thank you.
Chesapeake light craft is an awesome company about 25 years ago. I built a kayak from there yet and it works flawlessly. They are beautiful boats and it looks like you guys had the greatest time in the world. Beautiful Doug.
As a long time Hobie Cat sailor ( 16, 17, 18) you rekindled my enthusiasm for the sport! Super performance on your part. Congratulations on finishing in record time and proving the capability of you super trimaran!
That was a fun watch. Thanks, guys!
Great coverage of a difficult subject. You were so well prepared. Love your attitude.
Billy, and Sierra, Thanks for bringing us on such, such a new, and fantastic adventure. Great video!!! P.S. Can’t wait to be wearing our Jetty Tees!!
FANTASTIC !!! Absolutely loved it 🥰
That was awesome....really great adventure you took us on..THANK YOU!!
Awesome you two guys are just amazing , the boat looks fantastic what an achievement , GL
Outstanding! Thank you!
Have been following you guys for awhile -- always great / educational / informative / entertaining videos! As to this boat and its construction: I had the good fortune a couple years ago to tour a shop that makes racing (rowing) shells. They're all carbon fiber these days (compared to spruce back when I rowed). The hulls are 60' long and 18" wide and weigh just over 100 lbs or so without rigging. Your construction videos brought back some good memories of that tour. There are so many similarities to the rowing shell process -- including the vacuum bagging! Super cool stuff. Keep on being amazing! 😃👍
Great job. Great seeing you at the finish. And I agree with Chief. The boat is stunningly beautiful.
That was great! Thanks for sharing. It sure makes all the work you put into designing and making the boat even more relevant! Thanks again, that was outstanding!
That was great, I enjoyed it very much, thanks for sharing the build and the race!
That was awesome. Great video! Thanks for sharing.
Congratulations! What an incredible adventure, I'm jealous!
Captivating adventure! Thank you!😊
You two rock!! That was awesome. You continue to amaze me with your skill, daring and fun attitude. Nice job in a little boat.
You 2 are living a great life. How many super cool boats can you come up with ? I love this boat. Sure was sweet of Jetty to let y’all race without her, don’t push though as there is several male dogs snooping around the house. LOL 😂❤🙏😎✌️
Great team adventure! Reminds us of our 2016 Paddle Georgia of 95miles in our kayaks. These are great memory makers.
Great adventure, guys. Keep up the wonderful experiences.
Wow!!Really enjoy watching this video!!
That's quite a sail. Awesome job. Jetty is such a good girl
That looked like a lot of fun! Thanks for bringing us along. Great boat!
That was so awesome to watch, well done guys! Love following your adventures.
Great build, better race, super video. You guys are awesome.
Congratulations you have done a great journey with minimal preparation and competed very well, looks like yourselves and the new rig are a great fit, I always look forward to your videos, full of new and exiting things for us to experience with you, Thank you and all the best, Al
Great job guys! Loved watching the journey!
Such an enjoyable video. Just the camping on islands takes me back to what I used to do as a child. Then sailing an awesome boat which had just finished building, that's a team to make it happen. An interesting perspective on places I wouldn't think of sailing.
I’ve been using Keen footwear for many years. They’re so comfortable and durable. Love following your adventures.
So amazing, really enjoyed this. Y'all are so amazing to watch. I have enjoyed the journey with y'all and all the adventures.
Thanks for the ride guys, loved every mile. We'll done.
Nicely done guys so proud of you two!!!
Well done! Well documented. Looks like you both had a great time.
Crazy, just plumb crazy. Congrats.
That is a fine looking boat. Great job. So cool that it has 3 methods of propulsion. You have inspired me to add outriggers to my sailing canoe.
