The only was I can describe this house is calm. It is a calm smooth house. No unusual surprises. Elegant without overwhelming attitude.
Finally youtube recommended me something still above my level but not impossible, when what I've been recommended all the while are mini tiny houses and super big mansions

People who got in earlier into the housing market made a bunch of profits in 2008 the house would have costed around 400K. But now builder bought it gutted it and is obviously looking for a premium in for it

25 mins without traffic, 45 mins with. Go station is also nearby and train ride is about 45mins to downtown.

The fake balcony and old houses on either side (with 25 year old station wagon and minivan, respectively) were immediate turnoffs.

Appreciate your comments. Consider, It's a flat roof, this a design feature not fake balcony. It's a transitioning neighbourhood which is common in Oakville. There is new builds all around it and the neighbouring house has been sold to someone who will build. You can buy a new home in the north end with all new homes but you won't get this lot and location.

You mean too contemporary. Modern, in design, refers to the past. A past period, like mid-century modern. Contemporary means now. freshome.com/inspiration/modern-vs-contemporary-design-whats-difference/

Those quartz floors are over the top pretentious.
Please stop with all the writing on the video. We all know what the rooms are. Very, very distracting and takes away from the beauty of the home. I loved the video, but that text on the screen has to go.
