I doubt you will ever read this. But the reason the glass has the best carbonation is because the Co2 can not escape through the glass. Plastic has microscopic holes were the carbonation over time will leak out.... Thats why wine bottles are made of glass because it can preserve its flavor for 100s of years.

I remember having the 7up gold as a little kid. When I was in college a buddy of mine had a 7 up bottle with golden liquid in it and I got super excited that they brought it back. He offered me the bottle and I took a huge swig of the bourbon he was 'hiding' in a 7 up bottle.

It may be worse on your liver and kidneys, but it is better overall in terms of calories, since one regular soda is 95% of the average person's sugar recommendation for one day.

I vaguely remember the 7up gold, i was 16 when it came out 😂, it was like a ginger ale I think, but had added spices. To be honest I wouldn't mind them bringing it back.....
