Lovely location near that Pier. My mate used to always stay here and loved it.

I was put off Britannia staying at Norbreck Castle several years ago but this looks lovely.

Stayed in that hotel over 20 years ago. Nothing wrong with it at all. Could hear the waves on the beach from the window. It was January.

best situated hotel in llandudno..........happy vally slap bang etc next to it/great orme........great places to have a quiet drink or picnic..............I know lots of people want TOO much for a budget/price hotel.........As I/others say............u want complete luxury then be "prepared" to pay MORE etc..........

Much better having money spent on them. I'm glad they are improving 😊

Just subscribed to your channel, I like the way you get straight into the review without 5 minutes of pointless waffle beforehand like some other channels. Good work.

Did you know that the Beatles stayed here during their week residency at the Odeon in August 1963? I went to one of the gigs - I was only three 😂😂😂

I've stayed here our room was at the other side looking right over the pier it was absolutely wonderful gorgeous sunset every night the hotel is situated in a fantastic place could not fault anything about it loved it 😉😉😞

It's certainly a lovely view

We stayed there a couple of years ago and although it was a bit ramshackle the view we had was stunning right across the bay. Room was huge with two double beds. The lift was deadly though and the wife got stuck in it!

The lifts appear to be modern so in sure they've been updated

Stayed here I had a balcony double room it was lovely food good staff friendly hotel a little tired didn't bother with everything entertainment or bar as I'm not a lush as my mum would say instead I sat on my balcony enjoying the view

I was in Llandudno briefly in May -- nice coastline too! Always enjoy your videos!

I very nearly stayed there last year but it had that ungodly 10 hr check out so for a bit more i stayed in what seemed to be the only hotel in Llandudno with an 11 hr check out.I saw that hotel on my wandering around the town.

Hi. I am a recent subscriber. Always enjoy the content. This place looks decent to me. Go on regular trips with a couple of pals, we always book direct, will definitely try out those booking sites in future. Very helpful!

We when we visited Llandudno have been in langtrees which is right on the pier and is part of the grand and we have had fantastic entertainment there but I’m not sure if that’s seasonal or they have moved the entertainment upstairs greetings from Scotland 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

£30 is a great deal some campsites charge the same for a tent.

i think there doing amazing im not far away from llandudno it really is a beautiful old building im so glad to see there finally getting it sorted it could be the best hotel in the area if they do it to a good high standard which seems to be happening unfortunately the prices will go higher eventually but they have to make there money back watch this space it really is eventually going to be the grand hotel living up to its name again finally

It's certainly getting there

Stayed in worse hotels in Llandudno. The Lindon Hotel in Church Walks was dire. Tired furniture covered in dust with a TV and kettle that did not work. Bathroom bin was full of some else's rubbish. Grounds were unkept and full of rubbish. The same with the lobby and it was not a good start to be greeted with a commode. It is now been turned into flats. This room does not look too bad but the Britannia chain does have a good reputation for the upkeep of their hotels.

Great video , it really helps us out as we travel a lot , the Queens Hotel in Blaenau Ffestiniog North Wales is worse than that you must review it

Its nice to see Britannia starting to modernize there hotels now. If continue as they have started, this hotel will be really nice.

Great video britannia deffently trying to get rid of there bad reputation.

I've seen worse..Seems decent for what you paid. Glad they are addressing any issues and fixing the place up.

Gosh I Stayed there thar pane of glass was broken when I stayed there in August 😂I wasn’t impressed tbh good old extension lead he does come in handy 😂 the views are lovely their breakfast was nice clean kettle woopeee 😂😂 till the next one 😊

30 odd years ago for me also

I've been there twice and tbh I don't regret it , prices where about 70quid so you could expect more but anyways it was nice

i paid £68 a night to stay in a hostel in llandudno and i didnt get breakfast but the room was perfectly clean but the lack of even a continental breakfast was such a disappointment

Should have stayed here it's certainly value for money

I used to stay at the Grand 4yr ago and I know it is old and tired but the room was good the food was good we had premier room and premier food.Sadly my brother passed so I won’t be going again I think it isn’t a bad hotel 👍👍👍👍😊

Again nice to see the hotel chain trying to breathe new life into it. Older generation often like to stay in hotels with character rather than newer one without any

I absolutely would stay here! You often see cries of "Tear then down!" on social media when it comes to Britannia Hotels. This is stupid, they're actually alright from my experience, and decently priced - you can only imagine how high prices in other hotels would get if the Britannia's weren't there

I hope the Metropole in Blackpool is being refurbished. Its in a prime location on the seafront. Not sure when the Asylum Seekers are moving on tho.

This Hotel used to be the JEWEL IN Llandudno's CROWN ar one time she'll will be again one day soon.

I wonder if the bedding was up to par with mattress and pillow protectors?

Britannia Hotels are not that bad now in fact they look lovely.

Beautiful part of Wales and to be fair decent hotel ,it the grand has seen better days but it's still in a amazing place

Wales, the most tropical destination in the UK.

No fire sprinklers. Are they not required in the UK?

ive been to this hotel many times and it defo not the worst this one and the prince of wales in southport are ok

Brittania seem to pride themselves on having the worst hotels in the UK. Run them down, get shitty reviews and charge a rate commiserate with the crap on offer - a curious business model.
