Yeah, that sounds like a fair price for the real Apple version. The knockoff probably is better quality anyway.

Remember, if you need accurate stats and measurements always use a professional unit/device made specifically for that purpose by a medical institute.

I'm honestly still surprised we don't live in a marketplace where it's standard for a low end version to come with every smartphone, whatever the brand. Just like when they would include a 'cheap' pair of headphones... just by including a 'starter' version of the watch, the user can at least see if they use it enough or want a higher end version that is sold separately.

I have a watch with the same operating system but better hardware. The heart rate and other sensors are accurate. And it cost 75 dollars from Amazon. Plus it was just marketed as a smartwatch, not an apple watch. And it runs very well

@@kingsupreme1532 the fake one is not better. There are some decent fakes but they are 100% NOT better, and usually are either shittier quality or missing some features or don’t sound/work as well. Believe me, I’ve tested them. Stop being an anti-Apple boy for the sake of it.

For all those who go beyond just the very basics. Apple watches silicon bands don't get sticky or break. My first gen band is still good. But the generic band i got of a different colour although the same in finish fell apart when left unused for a year.
