That's interesting that you've suggested así así! I've been told by various Spanish-speakers from various countries throughout the years that "no one uses that phrase" &/or "that's textbook Spanish". They suggested I use "más o menos" instead. Good to know that I didn't learn así así for nothing in school. 😁👍🏾

Yeah you can use either. It really just depends where you are at. I mean think about how many times you say, "I am so, so" in English. Probably not much, but it doesn't mean that some people aren't saying it, you know? But great comment. Más o menos is definitely a great Phrase that we could add to this list!

I am Nigerian and i love spanish. Currently learning but I am the beginners level and hopefully someday I'll be fluent. My only issue currently I'd the speed at which spanish speakers flow. Busta Rhymes got nothing on y'all. 😂😂 But then, I hope to one day keep up with the flow and probably flow the same way too.

I would love to see a video with more complex phrases for conversations or just more intermidiate phrases that you could use every day

Does anyone have any advice for getting over the fear of speaking Spanish and not sounding as good as their relatives? I'm 45(F) Puerto Rican. My dream is to become fluent, but when I speak I feel not good enough. Any advice would really help me. 💜.

Well, I would say most Spanish speakers I know regardless of where they are from, omit the S. It is known to be a "caribbean" thing but it's popular in all regions.

I learned when someone sneezes, you say Jesus.
My spanish teacher always says to use "a mí me gusta" whereas in these phrases it's just "me gusta". What is the difference?

You don't have to use a mí me gusta. That's like saying everytime you talk you should use the pronouns. For example you don't always have to say, yo tengo, you can just say "tengo."

Que lo que is Dominican. I say que es la que hay which is Puerto rican

Yeah lighting messed up, Iso on the camera was too low. I was filming by myself today because my camera guy was sick. Next time will be better!
