Estar comes from the Latin word stare which is the same root of the English word state.

OMG I low key freaked out when you were talking about "vosotros" saying it is almost never used because I am thinking I hear it used often and maybe I have been misunderstanding everyone BUT I live about 20 mins outside Barcelona Spain so yeah now I am relaxed. Turns out I was getting this one right. #relief 😅😅

Un ejemplo: Estoy haciendo mi tarea y yo estoy terminando la pregunta de mathemáticas. ¿Crees que estoy usando el verbo correctamente? Ya me se el verbo, "Estar" pero yo quería dar un ejemplo para ver si yo soy correcta. ¡Entonces gracias por la ayuda de los verbos!

I purchased his course a month ago, and I love it!!! It has helped me with pronunciation and learning the language as I am a beginner. I have found his course to be easy and understandable. His teaching skills are amazing!! I also follow him on IG and he is engaging through his posts and DMs for any questions. I'm learning a lot and have overcome my fear to speak Spanish with others.
