You didn't show the pegs.I was wondering how the walls are taught along the bottom. I assume they're pegged? I remember camping at Wellington Dam and it was over flowing. The current was quite strong as we found out with 3 of us in a dinghy. A slight bit of panic to row to shore 😅😅

Hi mate, yeah they just peg to the ground with some eyelets that are adjustable to get them tight, I do love the welly dam area such a good spot to camp!

I've just recently got the same awning but don't have any of the walls yet. Think I might just get 2 to start with. The walls were probably the reason I went with 30 second. Coz they zip, not Velcro and also they fan out a bit giving you more space. I found most other 270 walls, even the more pricey brands went straight down!

Thanks for the video mate. This makes my decision between the drifta and the 30 second much harder. I do plan on getting walls and the 30 seconds seem much better and have windows and doors. You might have sold me on the 30 second 😂

Appreciate the reply and discount code mate Only thing I'm concerned about is there seem to be some pretty bad reviews for this awning online in regards to it being damaged out of the box and bad after sales support. Maybe if I buy it from a store like you did, any issues I run into can be rectified via the supplier and not the manufacturer

The biggest problem with walls is that the time when you really want them, like in a storm, you can't use them because they will fail in a wild storm. I have this exact set up and one of my walls just ripped along a seam in high winds at Quobba Station.

I wouldn’t be putting my awning up in a storm anyways mate let alone walls definitely a recipe for disaster!

Is your awning the 2.1m medium version or the 2.7m large one?

Just a note, once you've got all the walls pegged and secured, move your poles out on the same angle and adjust to suit. Thank me later!!!!!
