In this compilation video, we go over multiple clips from bear attacks, encounters and even charges. What makes these ''caught on camera'' moments so scary is the fact that they were filmed in remote areas like a forest, national parks, alaska, russia and canada.
Encounters with black bears, brown bears and even kodiak bears are actually way more common than you might think. They often happen to people who are hiking, camping, mountain biking or even hunting.
It just turns out that some of them were lucky enough to capture footage of these near death experiences that almost went wrong on camera and go pro. This leads to some very creepy videos.
Thankfully, many people on hikes carry bear spray, which prevents their bear encounter from turning into ''gone wrong'' viral moments.
Get ready, because these bear vs man moments that could easily be considered near death experiences are sure to give you the chills.

My grandfather (born 1897) would spend summers at his grandad's high-Carpathians hunting lodge. When he was 9, he went to pick forest raspberries not far from grandparents' timber lodge. Soon he noticed rustle on the other side of the huge bush. Carefully parting the twigs, he suddenly found himself eye to eye to a brown bear, about eye-to-eye level. The bear was picking raspberries on the other side of the big bush. Grandad later told me his luck migt have been that he frose solid and very slowly let the branches close back on his side.

Many people don't seem to realize that a bear can move extremely fast especially in the first hundred feet A grizzly if you can see him better llook for somewhere safe to get to cause if he decides to come for youd be surprised at how quickly that bear who was a little spec a min ago is now within a stones throw away

Once a bear sees you and is very hungry or a mama bear with cubs, then your chances of survival is pretty much zero! As you can see bears are extremely fast and humans just can’t move that fast to avoid a charging bear that close!

Bears can break into cars, campers, cabins, houses if they are hungry enough. Best advice is keep food in cabinets and refrigerators and not outdoors in bear country. Never leave food in vacant vehicles, cabins, or houses.

In that bear situation, all I can think about is how the man lets his wife remain closest to the bears instead of switching positions with her. I'm sure he's scared, but he isn't very protective of her. I wonder what she thought about him leaving her closest to the threat.

She was a seasoned guide, she was doing the right thing, trying to make noise. She is rightfully upset and scared because she was stranded on an island after the kayak broke. I wouldn't have tried to chase it off with her spray, if it agitated, she was toast. She was in a basic lean to cabin, no protection. Give her a break, I'd be a little upset at being stranded with a predator mere feet from me on an island in the middle of nowhere Alaska, too. 😡 The spray did it's job; keeping it from her.

I can say that when I’m in the woods, the last thing on my mind is a bear. More so, the human element. If you take precautions, avoid active bear season, and carry certain types of protective gear, you should be good. How we, if you go into bear country, during peak feeding time, then it’s trouble. Most people know to avoid that. Mama bears are also quite dangerous. Contact is growing but most camping adventures don’t end up like in these videos. Woods are pretty safe! Spiders, ants, ticks, and mosquitoes are more trouble than bears!

4:30 - 5:50 The bear's name is Mansur, and Andrey (the man in the video) cares for him along with his fellow general aviation pilots at Oreshkovo airfield. Someone left a little bear cub seven years ago at another airfield. The cub was already friendly towards people by that point so wildlife experts told the pilots it was too late to train him for release (he would survive but he would probably come to the nearest town at some point in his life which would most probably end badly). So the pilots kept him. He has a youtube channel with 800+ videos, Медведь Мансур - Mansur the Bear. He has never tried to attack a human. In this video, Andrey is hanging a toy for the bear but the bear wants to play with the ladder instead.

I live in the country, near a restaurant, and one day I was lying on my porch, on my stomach with my feet hanging out over my steps…a mama black bear and her three cubs went through my front yard, right past my feet, I didn’t realize it until after they were past me. Thankfully, she was a decent mama bear, she was small and really very calm. She would put her 3 cubs up the tree in my front yard when I was sitting on the porch, while she would go hunting for food, like I was her babysitter. I am assuming she was a cub that I knew from previous years, because she sort of trusted me, she didn’t like my daughter much, but she was okay with me. She would be on the backside of my grill, while I was cooking on the other side, but she wouldn’t try to come at me, I would yell at her and she would back away. My daughter would look her in the eye, and try to bend down slowly, which I told her not to do, mama bear didn’t like that, so she would huff at my daughter (who is an adult, by the way).
