Im actually surprised infrared light wasn't included here. Its honestly one of the best things you can get if you have trouble with the light in your room. You can play in complete darkness but still see everything.

What do you mean by that

some people are built different and never get motion sick (like me). so for those people taking breaks should really be done at maybe an hour instead, so you don’t get a headache from the tension and weight from the headset.

I have prescription glasses and I’m wondering because I have multiple cloths to clean my glasses should I use one of those to clean it up

I remember playing rec room for the first time and that was the first time i had motion sickness, i dont have it no more, but i think it was because i was just getting used to vr.

I like the headstrap that the quest 2 comes with and I also like the controllers

Pov you're me: Doesn't get bother by the base strap of Quest 2, can play a long time with the vr without getting sick, use the smooth turning and walk, plays intense immersions games ( without getting dizzy or sick). Hits the wall and some stuff from time to time.

I just have naturally long eyelashes so I use the glasses spacer to keep my eyelashes from touching the lenses cause it's really annoying.

I played my oculus for two hours today and I never threw up

0:56 when I first saw that you need one of those cloths to clean the lenses I thought “thank god I got my glasses 2 months ago” cuz idk where you get that type of cloth anywhere else… and I don’t really wear my glasses so it’s the only thing that cloth is cleaning

one thing: for the straps, put your hands in the party away from the controller, this is how you are supposed to use them and they can be tightened better

3:45 i need the glasses spacer bc when i use my headset without it my eyelashes brush against the lenses and its very irritating

The first thing you should do when you get a quest 2 is to Throw away the original head strap and get a better one

i also have the kiwi headstrap its so comfy😀

To get the headset to comfortably fit your head expand the top head strap so the weight will be held at the top instead of having to strap it to your face

I use a BOBOVR Head Strap, Improved Wrist Straps, VR Cover, BOBOVR Cooling Fan, KIWI Knuckle Straps, and a link cord (NOT by oculus)

I have my quest 2 completely upgraded such as 2 extra battery life boxes something that doesn't mwke lenses blur and a comfortable cusion on the front and back and there is a circle to adjust the side of the headset

I just ordered a kiwi headset strap it comes monday :DDD (ive owned my quest 2 since xmas and im a veteran with vr having owned quest 1+quest go)

What I did with my headset I turned my brightness all the way down, and my eyes just adjusted to it

Fun Fact: Wearing glasses in VR is absolutely safe! Tip: Make sure you put your Quest on right if you want to wear them.

i woulda liked to know ab the wrist strap before playing beatsaber, my controllers are absolutley destroyed, the left controller dont have the black cover and both controllers have no joystick and both rings are cracked

That game isn't even that extreme

So basically i dint have enough space in my house so i play vr in my garden. The only problem is the controllers are tracked properly because i think they use a light which is useless outside since of the sun. So if i buy the meta quest pro controllers will they be able to track in bright conditions?

they have cameras and processor in each controller so they track themselves, but if Ur going to spend another 300 you might as well wait for the quest 3, unless you're happy with the quest 2

Guys if your worried you might vomit while playing the game dw it only happens to people with a very weak stomach 😅 also don’t over work yourself just play for a few hours.

I have a tip make sure you turn off your Vr when charging I forgot to turn it off and it didn’t charge

I have another one. Get a Murphy bed! I built one and I have an additional 42 square feet to play.

DONT Use the glasses spacers they dont really work and thats how my oculus got scratches but you could get some oculus lens protector

i must be really good at not vomiting or something bc i played for 46 hours straight and slept with it on and i never gotanything more than a slight headache

One time had my quest hung up on the wall.. and when I pulled it down a certain 8 legged critter ran out... Not sure if this was real life or a nightmare.. either way.. I clean it every time I pull her off the wall now 😅
