Nice catch, in my experience of catching grass carp they tend to bolt from hands when holding them and trust me you won’t hold onto them when they decide to!always hold them close to the ground, over a sling or on a matt incase they do!

Putting those Zebco 888 reels to work, my friend. I need to dust mine off and fish with it some more someday. I haven't had the chance to catch me some monster catfish with them just yet.
