I'm not sure if anyone has said this before, but piranha are beautiful fish. Whatever you're giving them has their colors fired up. It's one of your best tanks ever.

The aquarium's set up is really what makes them colors emerge. Or what makes a fish pale or darken up is when they're under stressful conditions.. not the diet.

I think the same,too... here in the Philippines you can't have them as a pet, you'll go to jail forsure...it is forbidden because of their killer nature.

They can also be total wusses. We had one feeder guppy that charged the piranha and that sole guppy lived in the tank for almost a year while other feeder guppies were eaten.

Yeah they mainly eat dead animals and pieces of meat that are already been torn off of a creature, I watched a episode or River Monsters where Jeremy got into a pool full of piranha and he didn’t even get bitten once, so you don’t have to worry too much about them.

​@@seanthedilophosaurus3252 piranhas barely ate anything larger than themselves. Crocs, snakes, large fish often swam in piranha infested waters and they're fine as a pickle. If anything its the piranhas that became food items to these animals lmao

My parents have 2 full grown oscars and they are some of the coolest fish ever. They are really particular on who they let care for them. For example my mom can pet them and even hand feed them and they dont bite her but the one time i stuck my hand in there they werent havin it😆 thank god i have quick reflexes.

Im gonna have to travel about an hour out of town to find something different shortly. I got 4 more lined up then i'll hit the big city for more selection. Keep in mind, i will not be feeding live.

@The king of DIY I agree. I never fed my piranha anything that was alive when I had them. It just didn't feel right. This series gives them a wide selection of different things that they need, I love it!

It’s to cool to see but it made me think about how this could literally never happen in the wild since there are no fresh water octopus and there are no saltwater piranhas lol
