I hope you enjoy this Classical Mat Pilates inspired class! My mum had all the Mari Winsor Pilates DVDs when I was growing up and I loved to do them when I got home from school. That is when I fell in love with Pilates so the classical moves really hold a special place in my heart. This is only classical inspired as I added in some non-traditional moves too. Have fun! 😊

I also call these videos my pilate sessions.
This was more challenging than I expected from a classic pilates routine. Had me shouting and wobbling, but I pushed through to the end. I’m feeling accomplished and energized for the rest of the day. 🌻💪🏾

I'm into my fifth week of doing these workouts and I can already feel myself getting stronger, and the pain I used to get in my wrists and in the tops of my hands before I started pilates has pretty much vanished! Thank you for making these classes free and accessible for folks like me who can't afford gym memberships. They are wonderful.

I feel like crying bc I felt like the only one who couldn’t even do a workout bc the pain in my wrists and hands were too much from not being able to support my own weight :( I’m not even big I just feel so weak and pathetic this gave me hope

@@LiveURlifee8Ddon’t worry it takes months to get used to it and to be able to finish them all exercises at once. It’s been one week for me and I see little little improvements😅
My mom had the Mari Winsor Pilates DVDs in the early 2000s. I remember being as young as five years old, joining her while she would do them. My mother passed away, and with Mari passing away I find myself going back to the DVDs for exercise and nostalgia purposes. I loved her DVDs, and they've always been a part of my workout routine throughout my teens and until now. This is something new & refreshing, but also adding what I love into it. Thank you Nicole!
Lowering and lifting the sides of the hips in the last sequences was so challenging, I hardly made it! A very nice workout and feeling very proud of myself! Thank you, Nicole!
Loved it so much!! Your classes are the only ones where I truly enjoy, I don’t dread waking up and working out and I’m so thankful for you. I’m 13 and recovering from anorexia, with your classes I’m able to workout because I enjoy it, not to be thinner and that’s the most amazing thing for me.

@@butterflylake11788 you don’t know how much this means to me, seeing someone who went through the same thing as me be inspired by me is truly magical. I’m so proud of you, of us, for deciding to recover while still being healthy. I definitely recommend these, it’s one of the only workouts I can do that I actually enjoy, not like heaving on the treadmill to get skinny, but I wish you the best of luck in your recovery

As an ex collegiate track athelte who is trying new ways to move and keep my body healthy, thank you! This routine and pilates in general is something ive come to have a great respect for and an eye opening moment for me to realize my mobility and control of my movements is something i desire more of from myself. And, thank you for providing accessible and positive instruction!

I started doing your classes 9 months ago, 6 days a week. I'm so glad I found your videos, Nicole!Before that I never did intentional workouts, except yin yoga/ restorative yoga. Anything else seemed to exhausting. These classes are amazing, calming to the nervous system, effective and fun. I'm glad I found a way to build muscle in a gentle way, now that I'm 48 . A big thank you! This is a miracle for me. ❤

I knew my core needed some extra work, so thank you for this! It showed me that I must continue to work at my deep core muscles, NOT just the superficial abs
HI Nicole, I do not have time to go to a Pilates studio but I do your 30 min sessions on a daily basis. Always select a session and practice it for a week then move to another one. Started as a beginner, now able to master this workout class too. I also found this class difficult. For example, I was wobbly and didn't have the technique & balance required especially for side exercises (even though this class was not cardio-heavy or sweaty). Having said that, I am recovering right now... So I am proud I finished and got some movement in today 🙏🌟😊 I found 0.8 x speed helped me get closer to the correct technique. Thank you for encouraging movement x
Thank you Nicole. I woke up this morning feeling completely flat and de energised, talking myself oit of a workout necause i "didnt feel like it".. i told myslef id try.. just tey it. I started with your channel recently because I remembered how good I felt doing pilates when I was 16. My mom had a Gaiam one hour pilates video that I did over and over! been doing your workouts consistently 4-5 times a week since new yours now and i'm really feeling a difference especially in my core strength. now my biggest problem isn't strength but just being inflexible as hell haha

I really love classic Pilates classes. It is easier for me to keep proper form, as I have knee pain and I must be careful as I execute the movements. Plus it is perfect in between weight training days 👍

I started doing your workouts a few days ago after injuring myself at the gym doing weightlifting, and needed something less intense- and BOY does this make me sore in ways I haven’t felt in awhile. As somebody who is super inflexible these sessions are KILLERS but it’s been helping my knee pain so much! Thank you!

I came from the recommendations in the TikTok comments and I am super impressed! I feel great after this workout and don’t feel weak at all which is something I hate about working out. I also feel a lot calmer and at peace.
I took maybe a 3 month break from Nicoles channel, because school and the workload was simply too much. I forget how stress and anxiety relieving these classes are. Thankyou Nicole❤

Nicole, You are amazing! I am an aggresive roller-skater who does not weight train and I thought my stretching and skating was enough for me but I was wrong. After a massage in Miami, my masseuse, after learning that information in a prior evaluation, explained to me that when I rollerskate, I am favor certain muscles while others get neglected. It was everything I did not know I needed to hear. I kept thinking about it since it happened a couple weeks ago like, okay drag me. But I needed to hear that because he also recommended for me to look up "Pilates on a mat" on KZread, which led me to finding your videos. Shoutout to Alejandro working at the JW Marriot Marquis Spa in Miami! I started doing a single video of yours a day, 3 days ago and from the beginning, I felt new stretches I never even knew I could reach and I feel so much more awake and present in my body.
