SUCH A REMARKABLE MOMENT IN FOOTBALL HISTORY !!

Don't let no one tell you he had it easy, he built the squad from the scratch with players that fit the criteria of Pep's philosophy and built one of the most dominant team's in Europe. Hopefully he extends his contract in 2023 and stays here for another couple years because I can't imagine City without Pep nowadays.

Are you joking? Pep inherited a team that was already great and successful. De Bruyne, Aguero, David Silva, Kompany, Fernandinho, Otamendi and Sterling were already at the club and winning trophies before Pep arrived. They formed the core of his team for the next four or five years. Joe Hart, the number one England goalkeeper at the time, was also in the side, but unfortunately, Pep replaced him with Claudio Bravo, one of the worst goalkeepers ever. It was only when Ederson and later Ruben Dias came along that City started to look safe at the back. I've been a City fan for over fifty years, and I like Pep a lot, but City didn’t start when he arrived at the club.

@@Pwecko I was talking about how he brought players that fit right away because of his philosophy of playing football, he always preferred players who were good on the ball with their feet, thats why some players were shown to leave and others were brought in to replace them. The players you mentioned were all the core of the team and they already had what Pep or any other manager in the world would ask for in a player so of course Pep was happy to work with them for as long as possible, but there were also players like Mangala, Bony etc that weren't in his plans so they had to leave.

Man when i look at john stones i feel so proud i thought he will not survive at city like most of the players from the first season. He had to fight for his place in every season at the club. Now look at him pep guardiola made him a cdm, he's one of the reasons that city are winning so much.

Thank you for everything Pep. Please don't renew and depress us fans for another season. Need a coach who play direct attacking football who makes atleast 3 substitutions a game. He singlehandedly was responsible for the loss against Brentford.
