    Maybe do some biblical figures to life. Moses, Jesus, Mary Magdalene, Sampson and Delilah, Cain and Able…just an idea. Ty for doing these, it truly helps to see how these people may have been, making history more alive and real. 😊

    Well, the painters did accentuate their best qualities and would omit an unattractive feature. They knew that some of the royalty would have them killed if their portrait was unflattering in any way. Also, they knew this would be an image that could last for centuries, so they wanted to touch up or omit small imperfections.

    It is always fascinating that many women in these pictures have incredibly small mouths. Either because fashion wanted it that way and the painters helped out a little. Or because they made up their lips like that, similar to women at the beginning of the 20th century. As a result, many women look a bit strange in the modern pictures, because nowadays no one wears make-up like that, and has such a tiny mouth. Michelangelo looks insanely alive, and I could swear I saw Henry Vlll the other day. 🤣

    you are wrong. it is only now that big lips and big asses are fashionable and women are going to plastic surgeons to get lip implants and Brazilian butt lifts.

  • @lynnodonnell4764

    @lynnodonnell4764

    5 ай бұрын

    @@anastasia10017 Well... the small lip thing is not that far off. Small mouths and short even teeth use to be considered feminine. To have such features if you were of a higher class would alert others that you were a 'lady of poise and quality' so to speak. Woman lips were seen as mimicking labia. It was not ideal for a Highborn female to sport full juicy lips; having such could beckon arousal in a male. Now long teeth are attributed to youthfulness and so are full lips. Silent cues of female fertility are full earlobes, lips and feet. Fatty deposits in these areas are contingent on ESTROGEN. As estrogen wanes these body parts start to thin. A chiropractor was explaining the fatty cushioning underneath the feet, allowing comfort for wearing higher heeled footwear. When menopause kicks in those fat pads thin hence the 'comfortable shoe' decades arrive. He went on to tell me very wealthy women get fat injected onto these thinned out areas so they can continue to wear high-heeled shoes. I had my lips filled once because I have a shapely upper lip and a very thin lower lip actually lacking pigment, which makes it look even thinner :(. The plastic surgeon put in 'just enough'. I was utterly unprepared for the amount of compliments I recieved from men... How I wish I could afford to have my ear lobes plumped up being 70yrs old now. DIfferant centuries and decades have their own concepts of beauty. Bet you didn't notice the SIDE PARTS in the modern female hair images. Use to be a big NO-NO. Hair was still mainly parted down the middle into the 1970's.

  • @anunearthlychild8569

    @anunearthlychild8569

    5 ай бұрын

    @@anastasia10017 You misunderstood me. Look at the mouths in the pictures, they look similar to the mouths of the female movie stars of the 1920s. They powdered the sides of their mouths and only accentuated the middle part with lipstick. This has nothing to do with thick or thin lips, but that the mouth is generally very small. It's like painting a child's mouth on an adult's face.

    I find that when the hair is modernized noticeably, like Isaac Newton's, that helps to imagine him as our contemporary. But with others, the hair styles weren't altered much from their familiar portraits (e.g. Franklin, Washington, Jefferson, Shakespeare) so it's harder to make that imaginative shift. I found Catherine the Great, Columbus, Jane Austen, Akhenaten, Nefertiti all to be extraordinary. Bravo on the clothing, too!

    Captivant! Je les regarde en boucle. L'infographie est superbe. Beaucoup de travail et de plus tous les visages ne révèlent que de la beauté. Un travail magnifique. Merci.

    I think you have beautified them; increasing or decreasing the size of the eyes, removing or softening features, removing face marks and wrinkles, reshaping faces, etc. So, they are very similar, but not quite themselves.

    Found every one of them to be uniquely handsome in their own way. Yes, the word 'handsome' is also a word to describe an attractive female; even into the 1970's !

    Fantastic work! I love how the ai keeps the expressions the artists had painted, then you can see how it would look on a more real looking person. Really amazing, it totally enhances the original artwork to see both together. ❤

    I liked all of them (except for young Stalin, who I would rather have seen portrayed in a pine box), but I'm not so sure about changing Henry VIII's famously red Tudor hair into a dark brown ( 06:19 ) . (Henry VII's was also more brown than red in the modern reconstruction, but it was less extreme. Elizabeth I ( 05:27), on the other hand, you absolutely nailed. ) I suspect that Washington's famously tight mouth ( 05:35 ) would have looked a bit different had he been born in modern times. Its shape in paintings was almost certainly influenced by the loss of all of his own teeth and the use of dentures long before the paintings were done, but had he been born in the era of modern dentistry that may well have been different. For mine Napoleon and Victoria are a notch above the others, but it's so well done that there's not much in it.

    Isaac Newton ! WOW ! Brains and looks ! Mary Stuart is rendered as pretty as she was described by contemporaries. I am supposedly descended from one of her male cousins, but there are a couple of gaps in the data supporting the lineage. 😂
