I find "Do" is one of the hardest words to explain to English learners, because lots of other languages don't have "do" like we do. Yes I do enjoy this wonderful video.

hey Laura, i notice in your videos that i've watched that you use the short A vowel sound a lot which, if i'm not mistaken, is pretty common once you head further north in the UK but, i was wondering: being the West Midlands, do you ever throw in some long A vowel sounds as well? i.e. in words like " past " or " last " or " grass " etc... do you ever say those kinds of words with a long A sound? or do you only use the short A vowel?

Don't worry about it... to do is an auxiliary verb. not relevant in many languages.
