Ypsilanti Lincoln defeated Okemos 79-73 in a non-conference matchup at Eastern Michigan University. Top-ranked sophomore Emoni Bates dropped a game-high 33 points with 8 rebounds. Junior guard Simon Wheeler added 14 points and 5 assists.

GOD! DAMIT! BATES! Dat Boye Bad In my opinion I still feel like last year team was better overall but the defense was key to why they won states their effort on offense was solid to the Wire. But Bates has a lot of help on defense last year But this teams coming along just fine I lik what I’m seeing on defense they have some solid coaches at Bates high school. What other high school cud you see Bates playing for? For Spire
