    Reynard - Could you do a video on home design trends that are timeless? Every 5-10 years new trends pop up, but I’m trying to build a home with pieces that will look good for a while. Stuff like Tuscan and all grey/white were once popular but now have been replaced with earth tones. Soon earth tones will get replaced with something else, etc. Really looking for something more sustainable.

    The door fronts on those Bestas look great but the alignment is all over the place. You have to adjust the hinge hardware to line them up. You can see that the gaps between the left two get larger as you go down and the top of the right door is not flush with the top of the unit

    I love the Besta unit you showed with Bjorkoviken doors. I'm considering getting it but am not sure of the dark brown/ black frame. Do you think it would go with white or walnut coloured frame...and how would that mix with other tones of wood that I have in my home. That's my biggest issue...not knowing what goes with what. Thank you so much.

  • @reynardlowell

    They have the bjorkoviken in birch as well, pairs better with white frame. Otherwise if you go full walnut it will look great! I wouldn't recommend walnut with white frame around it, but you can look into having full walnut with a white top panel (or something else like marble?) for contrast.

    @@reynardlowell As I am binge watching your videos (and trying to learn and get some ideas), I get your reply..and thank you for it. My main worry is that my dining room table is more of a warmer undertone wood ( not too dark but not light either) so I can not picture what would go with that so that it doesn't clash since my apartment is open concept. I'm thinking should I go with fully white Besta wall unit, darker Bjorkoviken (but is seems more of a cool tone), is light Bjorkoviken gonna go with my table. Ughhhhh it's giving me anxiety hahahaha.

    What is your approach to foreign languages? Are you willing to be laughed about and ridiculed every time you are butchering another language with every word you speak? Or are you convinced that you do not sound "funny" as in laughable every time you open your mouth? What is your point of pointing out that people raised with other languages do not pronounce your language like you do other than letting the world know that you have a mean personality trait? Nobody pointed that out to you yet?

  • @runningriot7963

    @runningriot7963

    7 ай бұрын

    @@beatrixaltenberg5135 Chill out bro it's not a mean personality trait, I just think it sounds funny, there is no harsh feelings. Also I'm not Swedish FYI and I speak several languages. I have studied foreign languages and linguistics for over 5 years so I am well aware of trying to learn foreign sounds. Do you not think it's interesting and or funny when someone pronounces a word in a way you've never heard before? I've been in the situation countless times and even for myself just laugh when I am struggling with a word I know exactly how it feels. You just need to chill out and not take everything so seriously. Languages are funny things my guy and you can have a lot of fun with them if you just relax. Notice how I said, "It's funny hearing foreigners pronounce words", not "You're pronouncing the words wrong." I was not singling him out, nor was it out of bitterness and correction, It was merely a reaction of laughter to hearing people trying to pronounce hard words.
