Thank you for this encouraging video. We are all unique with individual crowns. This really resonates with me... listen to your hair and give it what it needs. There is such conflicting info out there, use this, don't touch, this method is tried and true, spin twice while jumping on one foot before you get started 😅 This video has been a much needed breath of fresh air for this naturalista. 🙌🏾

Lovely results Paige!!! Because of you, i purchased the African Pride coconut prepoo detangler and i can NOT wait to use it. I used it on my son and he has very dry highly textured kinky hair (it was a BREEZE to detangle). My texture is more similar tovtour texture, so i am excited to use it in the future!!!😊

I love your progress. I'm inspired to embrace the journey, find what works for me, and be consistent. I was considering dreads (but didn't really want them) because I'm having an extremely hard time maintaining length. It's time for me to buckle fown and truly love on my hair. Thanks❤

beautiful , congrats on the 3 years! Question: does moisturizing loose like this and smoothing through loose hair have better results than when you moisturized on top of your mini twists? or is is the same? I always wondered.

I have been natural for 2 years now I was struggling so hard with my hair I didn't know what to do and I would always put my hair in braids and when I take it out I would see growth but alot of hair would come out and this year I had to put braids in but I see my hair is not growing with braids anymore and I had alot of split ends and I had to cut alot of hair off because the split ends was so bad and now I'm doing mini twist after watching your videos and I was my hair in mini twist and it helps alot and I leave my hair alone I'm now only going to do mini twist I love mini twist now ❤

eating clean helps hair growth also. what types of food do you eat?
@GlowupwithPaige
9 ай бұрын
Yes eating healthy foods are important too but honestly I’m not the best to give advice on that part. I like to eat melons eg. cantaloupe, honey dew and watermelon. I try to eat a balance meal at dinner time eg. baked chicken, rice and a salad.
Beautiful hair… do you use a comb or your fingers to strangle your hair?
@GlowupwithPaige
9 ай бұрын
Thank you so much😊💖💖. When moisturizing my hair throughout the week I only use my fingers. I mainly use tools like my comb and detangling brush on wash day to detangle my hair. Hope this answers your question.
Hey Sis, I have a similar routine. That was a nice tip -> Don't use tap water. I have been guilty of doing this, but will make some adjustments. I have hard water and rent... But I recently had to boil some water because I'd developed a post-nasal drip after a cold and had to do a sinus rinse via a neti pot. I boiled a big pot of water because I used some to make tea and somebody recommended that I gargle with salt water too.
@GlowupwithPaige
9 ай бұрын
Hey glad you found this tip helpful. In the beginning of my natural hair journey I used tap water to re moisturize and it would leave my hair hard and dry after few hours.
Hi Paige… forgive me if I missed it; but how often do you trim?
@GlowupwithPaige
9 ай бұрын
Hey I trim every 5 months. Since I wear my hair in twists most of the time, I find that this works for me.

Hi can I do the same with relaxed hair for myself? Also I have two girls, I am trying to create a routine same as yours for them, I see you don’t oil your scalp, I used to oil my girls scalp and massage it, should I stop and just apply the oil on the hair only ??? Please let me know
@GlowupwithPaige
9 ай бұрын
Hey yes you can see how it works for your hair. Also I do oil my scalp, that day my scalp didn’t need any oil. Continue to oil your girls scalp if it is working for their hair. I oil then massage my girls scalp all the time.

Watch my wash day routine playlist. I share my exact routine that helped me get to this length.
Why don’t you use tap water? Would you not recommend it?
@GlowupwithPaige
7 ай бұрын
I don’t moisturize my hair with tap water because my water is very hard which can overtime leave my hair dry and brittle. I prefer to use distilled water instead of tap water because distilled water is pure and free from any hard mineral build up or harsh chemicals.
