Man screw those people who complain shit isn’t scary enough. You want “real” or you want fantastical “stories”, like freaking horror action films or some shit? lol i appreciate you !! I'm also glad you understand that this channel isn't devoted to only true crime shit etc. There's so many channels out there that do that type of content. This is simply a channel where i voice normal peoples creepy encounters that happen more often than not. Sometimes they are weird and creepy and scary and sometimes they just simply aren't. I haven’t seen anyone complaining about that here. Everyone seems to think these stories were creepy from what I read. If you have seen them, they are probably from people who think a guy simply looking at them is scary enough to write about. Meaning, they are kids who have no clue about what is _actually_ scary.

It’s entirely foolish to travel without any form of personal protection. You can’t merely wait for police to show up-𝙞𝙛 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘥𝘰-or rely on the kindness of strangers. Ppl think a cell phone is a magic weapon or something, I guess bc ppl didn’t used to have them, but it doesn’t stop opportunistic criminals. Just ask Amber Tuccaro. Oh, wait, you can’t cos she’s dead. A recording of her interacting with her presumed murderer for 17 mins exists and the case is still unsolved. There’s no excuse not to at least have a knife. I've noticed that the people who get on social media saying stories and movies aren't scary, are actually the same folks who can't handle being scared. They'll go see a scary movie only with friends and make noises during quiet scary parts. It's a coping mechanism for being freaked out. They'll hear a story and immediately tell others it's not scary just for instant gratification.

I'll never forget back in '10 when I moved from Cincinnati to LA. I drove and stopped in Vegas at a friend's to rest on the third day of driving. The next day, that drive between Vegas and LA was unnerving because I left at 7am and it was already 105 degrees. I drove right through Death Valley and it's no joke. I had a '96 Accord and the air conditioner was broken so my windows were all the way down. The air felt like when you open an oven door. Each telephone pole has an emergency help phone on it. There was nothing in both directions except random trailers that people lived in way in the distance where the desert met the mountains. Water is essential and so is a reliable car because you DO NOT want to break down out there.

The lack of manliness, and some of these stories is infuriating sometimes. Been In about three situations closer to this one and majority of the time when you fight back, they give up not expecting you to. But did just hide wives there realizing your car knowing they’re out there doing it and do nothing It’s hard to fathom at least for me

Agreed, sometimes when i read these stories i stop periodically throughout the stories and just think something similar to myself. Have even caught myself saying shit out loud as I'm reading lol some people just have no situational awareness and or fight or flight, they just freeze and do nothing which is wild.

There are two very hard realities people must accept and adapt to: 1- The Supreme Court of the United States has ruled more than once that police have no legal obligation to save or help anyone. 2- This world can be very dangerous and cruel. A female brown bear may tear you to pieces, but only because she was protecting her cubs. Some people make a conscious decision to hurt others. You are your own first responder. Besides carrying a medical trauma bag with me everywhere I also carry a pistol.

1st story i feel bad for the guy, i take my firearm with me every day with three 30-round extended magazines for backup. I had 2 close causes usimg my berreta on people. I promised myself ill never be a victim or let a violent person get away with harming me. So if i ever am in a bad situation, they have forced my hand to use my firearm. I would rather protect good, peaceful people than evil criminals i have no problem taking care of.

As far as that first story goes, no shit dude. The police have always let me down every time I leaned on them for help. Otherwise, in my other encounters they're the antagonists in the story. But 9k in repairs? Must have been a brand new car for insurance not to total it. Depends on the manufacturer, but the gas light (if it works correctly) usually is between a 1-2 gallon reserve, so that's anywhere from 15-30 miles conservatively per gallon.
