I use the Snipping Tool quite regularly on Windows. It is unfortunate that there is no keyboard shortcut to go directly into an area section screenshot (where you select a small area to capture). I use this on Mac all the time (Cmd + Shft + 4).

Awesome! This has saved me opening photoshop everytime i want to screengrab a jpeg to put into a video!

alright so I followed your onedrive + prtsc method but for some reasons whenever I'm trying to take a screenshot while playing games like Minecraft or even fnf it doesn't show the screenshots... but when I'm on the main screen it works perfectly fine :/ I really hope you can find a solution to that and thanks!

Why you need to download something? Just open snipping tool, pin it to your task bar and done. If you want to paste your ss just ctrl+c and ctrl+v in the chat.

@@laurynasl8286 Because snipping tool can't do multiple screenshots. You have to click save each time.

u can also press prntscrn and press ctrl v on watsapp Web it will directly be converted in to a image and send it to anyone you want

Snip by the Microsoft Garage team is also pretty neat.

Dude its old school here is new way in Win 10 creators update! #1 Go to taskbar right click #2 select show windows ink workspace button # Then left click that you would have a screen shot with any custom size!

I found a better way to do this with free GreenShoot app, where you can set any key shorcut on keyboard. In addition, I'm using GreenShot in combination with Logitech K350 Keyboard and this addititional buttons I have cutomized to do ScreenShots on a single push...man, my life changed.

Okay so besides the snipping tool, is there a method that isn't a pain in the ass? And if I press windows, the start menu pops up. I can't screenshot any videos this way too without it taking 5 minutes to take a proper one

sQuare enix it's a cheap keyboard with only one backlight color per row. It is on amazon, just search tenkeyless mechanical backlight and you will find it.

@@utkarshranjan48 it's copied to your clipboard; you'll have to to paste it somewhere --Microsoft paint for example. However, the very latest update of Windows will show it in your notification panel for editing.
