Update you can calibrate some models by holding "bake" button for few seconds then use temp up+ or down- depending on the temperature difference inside the oven vs temp set. Once you set the temp (increase or decrease) then press "start" to save. In most cases you'll increase the temp on the oven. Check out the links in the video description and like 👍 if this helped.

My oven was funky for years then just quit heating. Opened it up and the temperature sensor wire was wrapped around the heat element ceramic insulator... $15 part and its been spot on since

As a first step, you might read the manual and see if there is a temp calibration offset feature to correct the inaccuracies. If you can’t offset the set point enough, a new thermostat might be in order. Thanks for your videos

We had an issue where the gas oven igniter wouldn't work. It failed when we put the turkey in on Thanksgiving. We watched a video on KZread and then went out to pick one up.

Good Basics. Next time, try removing racks and use a spintight with extended length.

Tampatec - also if the temperature only measures within 30° of the set temperature, the temperature setting can be adjusted to match actual temperature. There are videos on this. Thanks

My Frigidaire model FGGF3058RFC oven beeps that it is up to set temperature when it is 100* below it. It will continue to preheat until it is closer to the preset temp. What is the problem? Thank You.

I have a question. Can a bad thermostat not turn on bake mode

I had a new stove top put in. The old one worked fine but now the new one won’t get hot enough to boil or fry and the oven next to it the burners won’t heat up. Both are wired into a box and the into a plug in. The old stove top had 3 wires and new one had 5. What could be wrong

I've done thermostat on my electric stove. WHY didn't you take out the oven racks before starting the task? You can use some masking tape to secure the screw into the bit if you don't have a magnetic socket.

Tip for you,put a piece of tape sticky side towards your screw,in your non -magnetic holder. Enjoy
