Uh my mail does not work still I need my mail for a game it’s clash of clans it requires my mails so I did it then it did not show me I got this new iPhone and I did not delete any of my info in the old phone does it have to do something?

I had verizon which is now AOL. Email stopped working (probably after an ios update) on all my devices. The solution for me was: I went into each email account’s settings, under “advanced” I found a setting for “authentication”. I changed that to “password” , back up a couple screens and click on “done”. Magic… worked

Trying to figure out this problem for some time watching several videos and reading several forums with no luck. Watched you video maybe 1/2 way through and fixed it. Thank you for this informative video. Just had to sign in as the email settings said the email was not authenticated. Everything works and is current.

Honestly I am grateful for this video. I was having problems adding gmail to my new iphone and kept searching for a video like this but then I laughed after listening to the first part. I was like I have internet lady otherwise I wouldn’t be here. But guess what, I followed the lady’s directions/advice, still laughing - I turned off wifi and switched to data. Just like that I added my gmail account like the problem never existed. So thank you

Thank you so much! You helped me to fix the problem, actually I just had changed my gmail password and it wanted me to input the new password on my iphone exactly where you directed to delete the gmail ....so I simply input my new password and it worked !!

My mail on my iPhone is not syncing all the time with my iPad. When it does it says can not connect to the server. When I do receive mail and I delete it on one device, it is still on other.. I tried deleting the email accts and re adding, but doesn’t fix problem..any suggestions?

My mail app won’t reinstall from App Store? Icon is showing but with a cloud & it doesn’t do anything. I recently bought an iPhone and I transferred my data with my Samsung. It worked, but one of my email doesnt work. When trying to send an email in outlook, doesn't work. Gmail, can't even go into the account. I really need help since I always send emails with that account and don't want to make another one, just to send emails again. I have important data in there and cannot lose it.

You can try one more thing if you are using your gmail id as your iPhone email download google photos and clean your google id storage
