The hilarious part about the Deus Ex one, it was because of a memory limitation. They originally had a massive skyline image but it kept causing problems and crashes, so they cut the image in half and mirrored it... but because of this, they had to toss the side with the World Trade Center otherwise there would have been an extra pair of towers.

The fascunatung part is that if you actually vuew the skybox for the Solidus Snake fight you can still see the now destroyed towers, hudden out of view due to mgs2 still using a downwards angle camera, rather than the franchises later proper 3rd person view.

Tells of a future where everything is connected to the internet (including houses and cars), people play online video games with custom avatars, smart phones exist, and terrorists/criminals start using cyber crimes to attack. Its crazy how accurate that game was to today's time.

@@stuff4812 Yeah, but internet back then was literally just games. And VR was not considered to be interactive since mobile internet was not feasible on a large quantity. They expected VR to always be required to be linked to a heavier device. And that is just VR. Houses being basically fully controllable through internet was considered sci-fi, just like cars having internet, smartphones did exist since 1990 but even by 2001 standards did no one even consider the fact it could be the size of a watch. The main difference between Megaman and Real-Life, is that in Megaman, a computer virus is more than just code, and the internet is fully interactable to the point that the need self-sentient avatars protecting the interactable servers. As for 9/11, the twin towers were always the biggest/easiest target for any terror attack. They were New York's pride at the time, and New York was the pride of the US. Not only that, with the US intermingling against terrorist groups, it was only a matter of time before someone sneaked into the US and would target the buildings. The only reason we(humanity) didnt see it coming, was because we didnt think they would take it that far. Which is extremely naïve considering what they were willing to do. They already had suicide bombers active locally, why would we ever assume they wouldnt infiltrate any plane and hijack it? As for the NFA game, you'd be surprised how easy it is to get accurate outcomes. With the amount of NFA games that come out, there was bound to be at least 1 that fully accurately predicted so much.
