I would have definitely pressed charges on my brother if he did what the brother did in story two. That brother was very hateful and resentful towards his adopted sibling. In my opinion the adopted brother did nothing wrong but stand up for themselves against all the hate and resentment they were receiving.

Wow - story #1 was wrenching, not what I expected, very moving.

And the thumbnail is such a poignant symbol of toxic relationships with the surreal color schemes changing with the vict uh, turkey's emotional states, permanently nekkid and stuck in the fetal position, unable to locate it's own head and wondering why it's back hurts. Does it know what's about to happen to it? Is it too tired to care?

OP from story 2: I can't believe your parents didn't make the fully, grown a$$ son apologize to their 17yo, still a minor son!!! As a mother of 4, with a daughter your age, 1) there's no way I wouldn't have addressed this problem years ago. It's clear your brother had struggled with their adopting you from the beginning, but it sounds like they never sat down and had a talk with him, or went to therapy with him to try to resolve this. They just let it fester all these years, no wonder it's as ugly as it is. 2) I don't care if both kids are mine, if the adult (or even just the significantly older kid) was acting the way your brother was acting towards you- I'd tell them not only to apologize but if they did it again, they could get the hell out of my house until they learned some manners and respect. I don't think what you said to your brother was very far off from what he actually feels, but again, he's an adult. He's absolutely old enough to handle his $*^!. It sounds like you all need some family therapy because I don't think truly open and honest communication is a part of your dynamic. And also, I'm really sorry that you've been subjected to your brother's $*^!!# behavior and no one is truly standing up for you. The way this entire situation was handled makes my heart hurt for you. (fyi, not saying your parents are bad parents, just that ya'll need to have more honest discussions about things).

My grandfather had the only dance studio in Omaha, Nebraska and Frank Sinatra came into his studio once and danced with my grandfather. My youngest daughter used to ask me, " mom, who lead?" 🤣

I live in Mexico and Thanksgiving isn't really celebrated over here. Family gathering season is always in December (for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day) January (first week only for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day) It's definitely my favorite time of the year. Being Mexican, I have lots of; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews who travel all the way from the US and stay during the whole month of December and then go home days after the New Year. I do have a favorite aunt, uncle and cousin that come so it's always a good time when I get to see them, I kinda grew up with them as I lived with them for a little while when I was a kid. They're always so kind with me :) Edit: My birthday is also in January so we have a party for that too lol It's the 10th :)

I've felt similar to that first uncle, I hope he's still doing better. I don't believe I'd ever intentionally endanger another person, especially a child, but he probably thought the same thing before it happened. It is really scary that the mind can twist in darkness.

I believe the series Married With Children began with a song by Frank Sinatra, namely Love And Marriage . It was a fun show and they were the kind of family who would have odd family gatherings . We don't have Thanksgiving in Europe of course but there's St Maarten on Nov 10th with bonfires and St Nicolas (Sinterklaas) on Dec 6th who brings toys and sweets for the children . We've been having arrivals of this saint in nearly every town or village building up to the 6th . In my town there was a local drum corps followed by two policemen on motorbikes who lead an open car with the saint . It was a fun event for the children and even the adults .

Love your videos and as an Australian BARISTA I forgive you for not pronouncing mocha correctly 😂😂 I hope you know how much your videos are so beneficial in many ways to a lot of people. So story #3 I think it was, the one where the boy was adopted by the older couple who had a child that was 15yrs older than the boy that got adopted, I found that story incredibly sad & such a shame. My parents had been trying to adopt for quite some time & been passed over a couple times even. Finally they got the call that a young lady came in & wanted to put her child that she was giving birth to, up for adoption. She already had a child & couldn’t afford 2. I always wanted a brother or sister. By this point I’m 14, but it didn’t matter to me. I would wake up in the middle of the night to help feed or change her, I’d bathe her, & just take care of her. Maybe it was how my parents approached the adoption, or that I’m female, or just that I always wanted a sibling but she & I bonded instead of being distant like the brothers in the story. Now as I got older & our parents treated us differently I never begrudged my sister anything but I was angry at my parents for how they were treating us differently. I also went through my own rebellious phase & moved out so my sister & I weren’t as close as we were when she was little. It didn’t help that my parents wouldn’t let her come to my house. Sadly, we’re not very close now. Partly because we’re very very different type of people. I’m outgoing, she an introvert, I talk a lot & she’s mostly quiet, we just don’t have a lot in common & so not much to say to each other. But I love her so very much. She’s family blood or not doesn’t matter. That guy missed what could’ve been an amazing relationship & I think it’s a shame.

Yikes. Truly sad ones. I'm m always so impressed by how I've not heard any of these before, no matter how sad they may be. Im not a fan of paranormal/glitch/haunted stuff so this was a great video i really enjoyed. Thanks for the work you do, Raven!!

Most of my stories come from subscribers nowadays, so that makes sense to be honest. I do do quite a few from Reddit and other sources, and I've found the trick with those is too not go for the ones marked as 'hot' or 'popular', which is what everyone else seems to go for. I read the ones that don't get a lot of attention.

Just for future reference & since you mentioned your ignorance about the pronunciation of a certain word, if you're ever in doubt again you can Google (or use whatever search engine you prefer) followed by 'pronounce" & it'll pull up clips where you can hear it. I have a Canadian friend. Their Thanksgiving is the beginning of October....I belive the second Monday of the month. I love your ramblings (funny) at the endings of your videos....great sense of humor 😊

The second story and the last one was really scary. The brother should not have done that to him. I am just staying home for Thanksgiving. My nephews birthday is Sunday and he is going to be 18.

Based on your images of blues. greens, and purples on the "turkey" I think I'll pass if you ever offer us food. Sadly story 2 is... believable. The anger of a sibling for "internal" reasons... that you may never understand. Same for #3. You can't help people who don't want help. Ours is in Early Oct. Like second Monday early.
