    Egy jó ideje figyelemmel kisérem amit csak tudok a munkájával kapcsolatban. Fantasztikus, csodálatos!!! Mást nem tudok mondani. Én ,mi feleségemmel tanyán nemrég találtunk a fajtamentés által egy Komondor kant. Tíz hónapos már és nagyon jól viselkedik mind a haszonállatok mind a gyermekeink felé. Remélem majd sikerül mellé egy szukát is találni ami legalább így tud működni. Bár...most,hogy szelindek projekt is van...hát nem is tudom melyik lenne a jobb. Majd kíváncsi leszek ha a Horka kutyánk beérik idővel mit fog mutatni. Kitartás kedves László és eredményes munkát! Fogom keresni ha lehet. Köszönöm szépen!

    A télen történő megkötés nem okoz idegrendszeri károsodást/ zavart a kutyáknál? Köszönöm a választ.

  • @kinomad1

    @kinomad1

    2 жыл бұрын

    Károsodást talán nem. Minden esetre nem tűnik fel. Átmeneti zavart már inkább. Vannak kutyák amelyek neurotikusan befele fordulnak, vannak amelyek agresszívebekké válnak. De miután tavasszal megint szabadon engedik őket, helyre kattanak. Egyébként ez is egy teszt. Azokat a kutyákat kedveljük, amelyeknek még átmeneti zavart sem okoz a lekötés. Azok az igazán stabil, terhelhető kutyák. Gyakran hagyjuk megtörténni a rossz dolgokat is, mert csak így látjuk melyik az igazán jó kutya. Paradoxnak hangozhat, de régi bölcsesség is van rá: Ex malum bonum.

    What do you think about romanian Dog breed ?

  • @kinomad1

    @kinomad1

    3 жыл бұрын

    Well. Is hard to be short and not misleading about this topic. How they was in the far past, I can not tell, it is evident. In the near past I think the Rumanian shepherd dogs were the bests AFTER the Balcanian ones among the European shepherd dogs, just because in this two regions (some says that is one region) lasted the pastoral lifestyle in the modern times. The Balcanian dogs were better, because there was more alive the oriental tradition and institution: that of dog fighting. The Rumanian shepherd dogs were good dogs but they needed more human direct enforcement, assistance in the fight against predators. They simply were not tough enough. In exchange they did not caused problems fighting too much inside the pack or with other packs. The Balcanians were more tough with predators, they did not needed as much human presence, enforcement, assistant, encouragement by owners, but perhaps was much hard to manage their accentuated aggression, cruelness and effectiveness in fights inside the pack and with other packs. Both types of dogs, Rumanian and Balcanian fitted with the character of people who bred them. Now days emerged lots of problems. Many of the Rumanian "breeders" begun to cross original Rumanian shepherd dogs with huge external breeds because the dog shows become the driving force of dog breeding. City dweller laymen love huge dogs, no matter of their lost working abilities. In the very present the so called Bukovina shepherd dog is the worst and saddest example and victim of this. In the other hand appeared in Rumania oriental shepherd dogs, even in mountains working near sheep. These tough dogs (Caucasian, Central Asian, Kangal) confronted the original Rumanian ones and dominated them in the direct fights each other. So the shepherds begun to cross their ancient Rumanian breeds with these oriental shepherd dogs. I am not suggesting that is a bad thing. (I am crossing myself too in my breeding practice.) But it makes difficult, problematic to speaking and discussing any more about so called Rumanian shepherd dog breeds. (In general, the discussion framed by the western term of "breed" becomes more and more problematic. But this is an other story.) Both practice: the cross with show dog or working dog purposes is tried kept in secret. But it is a problematic fact in the real situation.

    Beteg lettem, erre - véletlen egybeesésből vagy sem, nem tudom eldönteni - neki is annyira legyengült az immunrendszere, hogy egy gomba elhatalmasodott a bőrén. Az állatorvosom rüh ellen kezelgette, de még rosszabbúl lett. Aztán állatorvost váltottam, aki eltalálta a diagnózist, meghatározta a gombát és kikezelte. De annyira rosszul volt már egy adott pillanatban, hogy felkészültem az elvesztésére.

    Tam is a stunning dog. I have just such a dog. He can run like the wind and has a an exceptional nose and eye. Very attentive and will run to investigate everything he finds disturbing, smell or sight. They also just look the same Tam and my dog. This dog is my heart and soul. Can you tell me what was wrong with him when he was sick, what was his misdiagnosis. I'm asking because my dog is suddenly ill and the vets can't fix him. He basicaly wont eat and lost interest in life. I say this but just yesterday he attacked a Chinese cobra by dancing around it and hitting it on the head repeatedly with his paws till it fled badly damaged. Still he is not interested in his food and lost the sparkle in his eyes. He has had blood tests and stool tests for parasites and bacteria, he is up to date on vaccinations, no temp no irregular heart beat and breathing appears normal just very difficult to keep condition now. He is now ten years old but looks six years old. We are worried for him. Your help would be appreciated. These two could be brothers. I do not know where he came from as he was a gift form someone who does not speak my language, imported from somewhere in the wide world. Love your videos. Thank you, its the hardest thing in the world watching a magnificent dog go downhill. I know I will never get another one the same. Cedric, Седрик is as special as Tam.

    I am not sure what happened with him. We have been going trough a very difficult period of our lives. I had to have kept then my dogs in a very bad place. I got seriously ill me to. - So he got a skin disease, what turned to be more and more devastating. My vet tried some cures but now is obviously that his diagnose was wrong. I change the vet, and the new one managed to make a good diagnose and cure. He said that the main problem was that his immune system fell down. A microscopical leather mushroom, which can be found on many healthy dog's skin, caused his illness, because his immune system was unable to handle it. He lost almost all his fur, and his skin was inflamed painfull. In the very same period my immun system started to overreact heavily the gluten and begun to fights against me. My good diagnose delayed also. But finally we had luck, got the right diagnose and cure for him and diet for me. We are okay now. If it is true that 1 year in the dogs life corresponds to 7 human years, then we were the very same age in that trouble. Now he is older than me. - I am sorry but I have no idea what could happen with your dog. You should try another vet. Or more.

    @@kinomad1 Thank-you so very much for your reply Kinomad, you have to know this means a great deal to me. I am glad you have come out well through your hard times, and your dogs. I respect how you are breeding and selecting, many of the same things in fact my dog taught me to treasure in himself. He was a fascinating journey and I will be forever honoured to have so unexpectedly been able to share this life with such a dog. Sadly he died two weeks ago. One can easily get very sentimental about such dogs as they look after you with everything they have and know. So I can say without shame that he left a very big hole in my world. A world I have often battled to understand so effortlessly as he did which gave me great strength. He made me very humble and indeed a much braver man than i am. He didn't have autoimmune disease. It was just his time to go, something I had not prepared myself for, nor the speed with which it finally came. He taught me how to respect this in the end in the most gentle way he knew how. He reached out with his long heavy arm to me, his eyes rapidly dimming and was gone, both my hands clasped to his huge paw. Unknown to me a full life-time for him had in fact already passed. I guess I dreamt it would never end. Even in his last moments alive he gave me the very last strength he possessed. I too have resolved I shall now endeavour to die a brave man. I thrill to the idea of finding a puppy just like him again, a big ball of fluffy, seriously noble Cedric. However I cannot be sure I will ever find one, or even live another of his life-times if I did. I do remember the day he arrived though and that face will be with me forever. He was tall noble big boned sturdy on his feet young dog, ear tufts blowing in the wind, serous eyes looking to the distance, smelling listening. I ran my fingers through his thick fur for the first time nervously finding the whole dog within with my finger tips and was delighted and very surprised to find such a great big dog was not only built for power but immense speed as well. He grew very big beneath my inspecting hands and froze solid emitting a low very deep steady growl that alarmed me to my core it was so loud. I was afraid I had taken liberty and would be bitten for my impulsive curiosity but instead he suddenly fell to the floor rolled onto his back and urinated straight into the air, instantly and forever smitten. Ha ha ha.. This was no mastiff, though. Although he looked just like your "TAM" underneath he was built more like your "HARAG" or "TAYMUS". Narrow chested, without loaded shoulders, good tuck up but still immensely powerful, tall very well connected, big boned and athletic. Turns out he was growling at a pack of wild dogs passing through the forest while I was inspecting him, he always smelt them before anyone could hear them. He never fell on his back like that to another person ever again but did exactly the same when he met my tiny Jack-Russel terrier also a male, they were best friends. Over the years his growling often took me by surprise like this. He could have his head resting near my knee and suddenly start that dark growling coming from deep from within his core. He would let it pass or spring to his feet and vanish into the distance in an instant in hot pursuit. He had a high prey drive and wild-boars he could smell three kilometres away at least, even in dense forest. Along with wild dogs these would make him wild with anger and excitement. They could keep him running all night. He also ate birds and was incredibly stealthy and cunningly succesfull at catching them. Often waiting near nests for hatchlings to fledge so he could snatch them in the air on their feeble maiden flight. He had a terrific very big bark, one you could fall asleep to instantly knowing your world was safe. My daylight world is now just bird song and stillness with a great deal of loneliness without Cedric. At night the boars dig up my water supply coming down the mountains and raid my vegetable gardens unheard and bold, feral dog packs noisily chase deer across the valley up into tight crevices where they shred them alive. Cedric has earned his sleep so I cannot complain. Thanks again for taking the time to write and apologies for this long English reply. I very much hope to follow more of your breeding endeavours in the future. This fascinates me completely as I am of course also always learning. One lifetime is just not enough to ever be with all the good dogs you would like to be with but I am content to have owned just a few very remarkable ones. Anton

    @@zsoltfulop4492 Harag nem vált be. Fizikálisan nagyon rendben volt. De pszichésen két komoly hibát is mutatott: 1. Nagyon falánk volt. Ha kimentünk folyton egerészett, dögök után kutatott. 2. Terepen is kezdett támadni emberre. Házőrzőnek, családi kedvencnek az ilyen még jól beválhat, de pásztorkutyának nem. Nyáj mellett, a legelőn emberre támadó kutya használhatatlan, különösen hogy viszi rá a többi kutyát is. Én sem tudom tartani az ilyet, mert több kutyával sétálok kinn a mezőn póráz nélkül. Ha rámennek valakire, még elgondolni is rossz mi történne. Falkában ezek a kutyák nem visszahívhatóak, ha már valamire rámozdultak. A falánkság is működhet családi tartásban, sőt kutyakiképzők szeretnek dolgozni ilyenekkel mert jól lehet őket motiválni. De nyáj mellett ez megint csak nem működik. Nem a munkájára figyel a legelőn hanem az egerekre, vagy ami még rosszabb, a sáskákra. (Ha rákap a sáskákra tulajdonképpen folyamatosan mérgezi magát. És nem jön rá szerencsétlen, hogy mi a gond. Elképesztő látni. Mintha drogosokat látna az ember.)
