Thank you for the tips. I especially agree with the 'high need' one. I create editable resources because so many times I've used resources that are just right...but I need to tweak something. That is one benefit I try to offer my buyers.

Thank you! I made $210 yesterday and not one sale was over $5.50 and at least 90% were under $5. I think teachers are shopping for lower priced products.

*I had to write and tell you - I've been watching all your videos for such practical advice for TPT and the one tip that really made me question my shop was your advice on previews. I took some time yesterday and went through all my Halloween products (that were NOT selling), and I redid the preview to not just share what the resource was but to share how it would help teachers and save them time. I kid you not - it's 12:45 PM here and one of those items just sold - THANK YOU!*

There is no easy answer to that question. Teacher sellers make a lot of money selling a variety of items. I started creating middle school science sub plans because I couldn't find very many and those I found were either just a worksheet or two or required students to retrieve information that they "knew." I don't know about you but when a sub showed up my students forgot everything they knew. I saw this as a hole in the market and that's what I decided to create. I have 222 items and yes. I have shared before that higher grades do sell better. There is less competition.
