    Thank you for making this video! I'm a Japanese Studies student who gave up on applying to medicine after not getting enough points on my school-leaving exam. Now, 3 years later, I'm graduating with a bachelor's and planning on taking a gap year to prepare for retaking my exams and hopefully pursue medicine at 23yo! I felt so down for the longest time but now I see that learning Japanese helped me grow in a lot of ways. So, even though it's an unrelated major to medicine, I still am happy to have some great memories and a hobby!

    Thank you so much! And I have a routine where I essentially put my phone up around 9pm which makes falling asleep shortly thereafter a lot easier lol. Also, waking up early and very rarely taking any naps has me pretty exhausted by the time 9pm comes around lol. Going over this in more detail may be a good video idea! But o hope this quick summary helps!

  • @EvolvingMedic

    @EvolvingMedic

    3 жыл бұрын

    Yeah it is interesting! Some of the things that work in undergrad, aren’t as effective in medical school for many people. And I’ve gotten into a pretty good routine of balancing work and “play” which helps me stay motivated and avoid burnout! Here’s a link to a video where I talk more about that: kzread.info/dash/bejne/h615xZOyadyxn6w.html
