This was a great video.... but frustrating for the betrayed spouse. My H cheated.... in our marriage he never..... and I mean never.... surprised me. No special date nights... nothing. I planned everything! I surprised him. Now I have stopped. Waiting for him to take initiative.... told him what I need....2 years out and still waiting. So, we sit home and I don't care. He asks if I want do go someplace and I say sure, where?? I don't know, what do you want to do? Nah... let's stay home is my reply.

Cathy it sounds like you've given up. If you are still interested in creating a healthy marriage again allow him to try connecting with you and entertain the idea of going out when he offers. Best of luck to you and whatever you decide to do!

It sounds like you're holding on to resentment (very much justified too!) You can either try to make things work out and start a new chapter in this relationship, or find someone new. You're hurting yourself more by holding onto him when he's not satisfying your needs. You deserve happiness.

@@Forest__Dream I openly admit to having resentments even to him. I warned him what his lies were causing. Told him I can forgive with the truth but resentments don't go away. I am willing to get a divorce.... He isn't. Said he isn't ready for me to throw the towel in and he is willing to take anything I am willing to give as long as I don't leave. So here I am. He can fix this just by occasionally apologizing and asking me to talk about what he did and him being open and honest while talking. But he won't. Ignore it and it will go away

@@cathycarnes5638 I'm glad you communicated your feelings to him! It just sounds like there's a lot of focusing on him and not on yourself.. Who cares that he doesn't wanna let you go. If he isn't SHOWING you that he really wants to keep you, by actually doing the work, then why wait for him? No use in wasting your looks on a guy that has cheated, and is unwilling to compromise for a better future. Focus on yourself. It sounds like you're holding onto him as well? (Of course I don't know you and not judging) ..but there is another man that will tell you he's scared to lose you, SHOWS you, and does the work needed to make you feel special. Happily at that. If I'm honest, you both seem unhappy just by reading the little that you typed. I don't mean to scare you, but look at the big picture, not just at him. The whole relationship needs to change or you need to leave and find happiness elsewhere.

I think you are really smart

Sir marriage and having affair doesn't belong in the same sentence and when you know that you can't be faithful in you're married just stay single and sleep with everybody simple... don't waist nobody time period and why you so focused on this topic like you are your wife cheated?
