I have used that exact fabric for portions connecting to the headliner near the front windshield and if sunlight hits it a lot, it’ll turn white.

Leave it in the sun rolled out of on a hot day for a few hours. Or I leave the roll under some shade outside on a hot dat rolled out for a few hours your preference . I used it on my old Chevy Silverado single cab. Just ordered another roll as I’m going to be doing my 03 f350 regular cab dually. Good luck and BE PATIENT, make sure if you’re doing a old headliner and the glue is dry and old get, some sandpaper and get off as much old glue as you can before damaging the foam. Then do one layer of glue but do not stick the headliner on yet. let the glue dry a bit then add a second layer as you start laying the the Alcantara/ suede.

@@forgivepaco682 I used 3m headliner adhesive, I bought 2 cans just to be safe but ended up only using one. Mine was a single cab truck I think if were doing a 4 door crew cab truck you’d probably use 2 cans.

What size fabric? Why does that matter. It’s different for every car. And you’d be charged by the yard at stores. Just get a tape measure and see how big your headliner is…

I did it but it still had some very sticky foam on it so I just put the other fabric on it

If you rele wanna do it I suggest looking up a spray paint to paint them black I believe ive seen someone do it. Or sometimes they sell those 2 parts online in black if your lucky. If not you can buyem just in case you mess up haha jk

For visors you would just take em apart and glue the material on them tuck the excess in the cracks with a spatula

How was the fabric you bought from Amazon packaged? Was it all folded up to where I will need to steam it to get creases out? Asking because I read some of the reviews. Would really appreciate a response? Thanks 🙏

I bought the paint and that shit didn’t work on the interior parts that I wanted to paint black. The paint didn’t stick and I shook the Can 10x before applying

You should lightly sand it with Scotch-Brite, works for me everytime, if you want good outcome you can primer than spray it

​​@@attemptivedon't crawl around on the liner you're currently installing. And you want to lay a blanket down over the liner after about an hour for a bit of weight to help the glue bond. Preferably do this inside in a nice warm dry room. That'll prevent any sagging. Did mine roughly 4 years ago in mine and haven't given me an issue. And its been taken out and put back in probably 50 times since. and had a Section cut out for a pop up sunroof recently, still holding strong. install after 24 hours and dont fck with it for about a week. Meaning leave it up and in the car, no other installs where the lining needs to come out or you run the risk of separating the materials

​@@sunnysingh8483different repairs, different modifications all sorts of reasons I remove a headliner. I had to take mine out just yesterday so I could install new cab marker lights on my truck and I'm going to have to drop it again next week when I replace my sunroof tracks

Peal it off. Remove the padding with a brush. Then prep and paste with adhesive.

All those bumps or whatever that make the fabric look different colors looks terrible

Spent around $100 to changed out the headliner so it could be black instead of painting it black....then buys VINYL AND FABRIC spray paint to paint her plastic trim pieces.....you just can't make this stuff up.
