Another important aspect of hair growth is your daily diet...remember hair grows from the inside out, not the other way around. Make sure you're living a healthy lifestyle!

I’ve learned that my hair grows slowly. I’ve been watching a lot of natural hair videos for the past year, trying new techniques and products. I was hoping to see my hair grow long quickly like some KZreadrs, but thats not the case for me. So now I focus on health rather than length :)

Once I went through menopause my hair slowed all the way down, but now that I am incorporating Ayurvedic herbs my hair is growing at a good rate again. I keep my hair short, so I’m not concerned about having waist length hair like a lot of you tubers, for me it’s all about the HEALTH of my hair, not length. A person can have long hair, but is it healthy, do you trim it often? A lot of times it’s naturals obsessed with long hair who need about 10 inches cut off but they’re too scared because they want long hair. Just my two cents. Have a great day!

Yes! But one most important thing to do for your’re and everyone’s hair is to pray for your hair! I don’t know if you’re Christian but I am, and i try* to pray for my hair and so far it has gotten softer and overall looks healthier. God loves you so much Jesus loves you so much! God bless! Me too regarding chemo. 😢😞 My hair is growing Praise God but still falling out. I don't think I have any bald spots - again Praise God. 🙂 Sometime ago I bought a homeopathic hair spray because I'm a sucker for clearance items. 😄 Used it once or twice and forgot about it. Recently I started using it again with a massager and I think it's helping. Before chemo I apply my version of that package of Ayurvedic herbs that have been soaked in oils, etc. I use a couple of migraine cold caps while I'm at chemo. I've never had hair this short and fine before. Crunchy too since chemo started. MUCH easier though! Talk about "wash n go!" 😄 Please share your chemo hair stories and what helped. Thanks!❤🙂👍🏾

I've learned that my hair loves fenugreek and aloe vera! I use it as a prepoo because the slip is amazing and my wash day is shorter because it's detangled, and I use my steamer with my DC all the time now. It's given me the ability to go longer without moisturizing. If I cornrow my hair after washing it and using my leave-in and homemade whipped mango and shea butter, I can go 2 weeks between washes and it's still moisturized and hydrated when I take them down. I don't do anything to it in between because my hair likes to be left alone. I've gotten 9 inches of growth in the last 12 months doing this. 😊😊😊

I am currently doing the 30 day no oil & no butters challenge. I washed my hair two days ago and so far I love this method bc my hair is more hydrated. I "watered" it today. The water got absorbed. With oils and butters it slides rite off. I think I'm going to keep this routine. I'm going to put gel on the twists to give it a less frizzy look.

I've learnt that oils and butters don't do well with my hair. I used to use them consistently because I heard everyone saying that they worked to keep moisture in but all that happened was the oil or butter remaining on my hair after the moisture had been sucked up and just making my hair dry and oily.

One thing I learned recently is to apply my moisturizer to my twists the day after a leave-in/scalp oil routine. It is Friday, and I have not applied any more product since Monday. Wash and deep condition Saturday night, leave-in/scalp oil Sunday, and hydration/moisturizer on Monday. Still soft, and supple.

I have spent more time on my scalp care. I used to be on it when using rhassoul clay but I fell off. I got back to scalp care this year. I use specific treatments and a scalp massager to help stimulate it. My hands made my scalp so sore. I also learned to enjoy my hair more and have fun. Micro-managing it was not fun Lastly, less is more. I look for specific items to add or replace my current favs and thats it.

I've learned that my hair needs protein treatments. I also need to take better care of my ends. I agree with you about consistency and results. I used to ACV rinse and prepoo and stopped because I didn't think it was helping my itchy scalp and was just more work. However, I recently learned that I am allergic/sensitive to Amidoamine which is in EVERYTHING! So now we're on the journey to find products without it but that also work well with my hair. LOVE your videos!!!

I have incorporated protein treatments and now my hair is not falling straight (and frizzy!) when I do twistouts on my wash day. My hair is now more elastic and now able to maintaining better coils/curls when manually coiling/shingling hair. I am a work in progress.😁 I am now also working to decrease the frizz. 🥰❤😅 Congratulations on the growth of your channel. I've learned no matter what itch products/natural oils out there, once my scalp starts to itch i just have to wash my hair. There's no more ignoring the itch or just scratching it. I ended up with sores/hair breaking when i didn't do anything to get rid of the itch. Washing my hair got rid of the itch for a few weeks. The itch products or oils only last maybe 48 hours once applied after itching starts but after that the itch comes back because my scalp gets aggravated with too much product. When i say too much products, i mean if i wash and oil my hair one week i cant add oil to it until another 2 weeks when i wash my hair again. I've tried a lot of shampoos, oils and my scalp taught me less is best. Oh and these less sugar/fast food I ate the less scalp issues i had

Great content as always. Now, I learnt in the past year that my scalp hates long term protective styles such as 6 weeks braid etc. No, ma'am, my scalp will be on fire! If I try to wash it while the braid is on, another trouble! It will upset the balance of my scalp so, once I realised this, I've known peace!

I’ve learned my hair is a lot like me. Sometimes it’s bossy and demanding and wants the products it wants when it wants it. It also loves being pampered and spoiled weekly. So pre-poo, deep cleansing moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, deep conditioner, a liddle heat (plastic bag), twist the hair to wash it to reduce tangles, a little more plastic bag action after applying leave-ins and always use creams and custards.

Shea moisture Jamaican black castor oil shampoo has incredible slip, I can detangle w/ it and apply deep conditioner right after (skipping the detangling w/ conditioner process). Also Coating leave-in, and following w/ Jamaican black castor oil on my hair in a steamy shower/bathroom keeps my hair moisturized way longer when I 2 strand twist it.
