    From my perspective what is most important in your journey of learning English is ask yourself what is your "why", If your "why" is strong, learning English won't be a challenge It'll be an adventure...

    I totally agree with you Hadar!💯 If I could add one more trait that I think is crucial I’d say that successful English learners don’t give themselves the option to quit.🙂 Because when we get that option off the table, our only option is to fully commit and keep going.💁‍♂️ And then achieve our goals becomes just a matter of time.😉 You’re an extremely experienced teacher and I always appreciate your advice Hadar.😊

    Your question is very relevant. :) Successful learners receive more compliments than unsuccessful ones, they have better habits, they probably come from a "better background"..., and are therefore better trained. They especially see more chances and possibilities in learning and I think they don't think much they stay in the process... Actually, there is no simple answer to your question... the world of humans is too complex...

    Hi Hadar. I also teach English here in Israel. From my experience student who understand the process of learning and its compounds are the successful ones. They understand the importance of reading and listening, training their ears to recognize the sounds, the importance of making mistakes while expressing themselves etc. In other words, those are students who, in addition to learning English, also learn the principles of successful language learning.

    My problem with English is just the reduced forms, that means everything in a conversation with natives. I don't know what to do anymore, i don't like this language but i need, this is why i'm frusted. Who has English in a native language don't know how much luck they are, because can study anything in anytime in anywhere without need to pass by a painful process. For me the natives are mumble their own language, not talking. I always understand English from teachers like you, natives or not, because all the English teachers care about be clear, even when use reduced forms, we can hear the reduced being applied clearing, but the mass of natives don't talk like teachers unfortunaly. Today i'm studying just watching South Park, and Eric Cartmam became new teacher.

    After I had listen your video about it, I'd say that successful English learners are exposed at the same challenge of frustration and hard work to improve English, but they transform these challenge in opportunity to grow of learning English and of a joy way. They never give up because of the hard challenge.

    Golden rule doesnt exist. What I can say to you is that you should make as much input and output as you are able to every day and dont count the amount of hours you allow for learning process. I guarantee that It really works but of course it depends on the person. If you want improve your communication skills, try with native speakers by some app like Italky or something similar.

    I noticed that most Europeans speak English fluently as a second language, unlike the peoples of the Mediterranean region, where they do not master the English language even though they study it in schools since the first grades. What is the real reason in your opinion? Thank you.

  • @LingoAdventure

    @LingoAdventure

    Which Europeans do you mean? Countries like Spain, France, Portugal, and Italy are on the Mediterranean Sea and are also European. One doesn't exclude the other. But if you are talking about the Scandinavian countries, then yes, I agree. Their English is amazing.

    I meant the Arab Mediterranean countries, and I am also an Arab. We have studied English since our childhood in schools, but we cannot speak it, while most Europeans, along with the Spaniards and Italians, speak English better than the inhabitants of Arab countries. Do you think the reason is due to the curriculum and method of teaching, or is English close in its composition to other western languages

  • @LingoAdventure

    @LingoAdventure

    Жыл бұрын

    @@jamalhamad9110 There can be different reasons - curriculum, exposure to the language, attitudes toward the language and the people who speak it, how far the language is from your native language, etc. You are right that English has many Latin words and it could be a little easier for speakers of certain native languages. But exposure is very important. With the technology we have today, more and more people from all over the world will have the chance to be exposed to English. I personally have met Arabic speakers with a great level of English.
