Pau is such a good person

We should all hope to have true friends in life like this. Much respect to the Gasol family

Man, Pau was such a gifted basketball player, but more importantly, he's a good man. Sure, these are very rich well known celebs. However, just like us, they are people, and Gasol is someone we can all look up to.

That's a true friend. Kobe challenged Pau & helped him become a winner. Aside from Kobe he was the key to those championship teams in 08 & 10 (I think)

My coworker passed away a couple of years ago and for Christmas I got a couple of coworkers to pitch in and we got Christmas gifts for his kids. His wife said it meant so much to them. You can tell it means a lot letting people know you’re thinking of them.

Kobe showed how dedicated Kobe was, and Pau Gasol has been motivated by that regard.. the Olympics is one example. The first play the USA team did was Kobe running into Pau Gasol the second they had the ball, letting Pau Gasol know that even though they’re “Teammates” in the NBA when they’re enemies, everything changes.

I thought the same, I found it surprising and somewhat strange that he did not speak in the memorial. They were more than friends and teammates, they were almost brothers. In Pau's documentary, they film 2 or 3 days after the accident and Pau was devastated, he couldn't stop crying in that part. It was a shock for everyone, but for someone as close to Kobe and his family as Pau, it had to be too hard.

This could've been more about brotherhood. Pau is... NO doubt a great guy...that shines through! Period! So it should have been about how they were together that formed such a great brotherhood friendship more than how you twisted and spun it. As though Pau needed to look like he was laundry- making what's dirty clean. IT needed no spinning.

Totally not the point of this video, but Pau was traded to the Lakers in 2008. There is an error made in the 2:22 mark. 2004 was the year Malone and Payton were on the team. But yes Pau was a great teammate and a special player. It is awesome to see him supporting the Bryant family.

Ya Pau joining the Lakers turned things around almost immediately. Wouldnt make sense saying he joined in 2004
