Yup! Sometimes we forget the simple things. I’m so glad I partly grew up outside of the US. It helps me be even more grateful for what we have here.

I love Thanksgiving even though we don't have it in the Philippines. Despite tragedies in the past months, I have a lot of things to thank for, especially the little things, I could not count them anymore! 🙏

I’m a fan of the cleansed lepers. Of those healed, only one turned to give thanks. Why should we expect more than what Jesus received. We do a kind gesture and want everyone to pat us on the back, Jesus HEALED ten and one realized what had been done. The magnitude upon the one’s heart stirred such a gratitude it compelled him to thankfulness. May we pause and realize the healing we’ve experienced upon our souls that we could not acquire independently from God’s mercy and grace. By His stripes we are healed.
