I like your example of not getting into the school you wanted. People sometimes imply that if we wait long enough, God will finally meet our desires. But often, those delays lead us in a completely different direction with new desires. Thanks for the perspective.

Yup! It’s in the waiting that our character builds.☺️

God releases our blessings in His perfect timing. Often, He test our humility, trust and patience. Many do not realize this when they are going through difficult times.

Waiting is so hard! I never pray for patience 😂! Waiting for God and being aware that His plan might not be our plan is best! Thanks for the encouragement! We should be joyful and satisfied where we are! ❤

Patience IS a hard thing to pray for but we need it anyway.😅 And yes, contentment is important!

Yes, sometimes it's in the waiting that we are being refined for something better than we could ask, hope or imagine. If we get our blessings too soon, it can actually ruin our lives (like so many lotto winners!)

I putting God first, we are more concerned about his plans and as we do that, his plans for us will happen. We cannot miss it. What I love the most is the engaging way you share the word. The flow, the pace, intonations. I would watch, listen, or even read your books. Always very relatable and empowering. I understand why you are so good at this because you have a teaching calling not only as a career but also there is that anointing upon your life! God bless🫶🤍

This is sooooo encouraging! Actually, I'm more on the wondering stage, like I don't know what's next and I'm waiting for God to put up directions. But you reminded me that we should devote this time of waiting to get to know more of Jesus. Perhaps I am focusing on myself instead of He Himself while waiting. Thank you, Hannah ❤
