    I passed all the tests, and I have the mobility, knock on the wood, but wth is this pain, it’s behind my joint or something, it comes and goes, happened after overhead press (shoulder)

    Hi, yes I have this when doing these movement. I sustained it when doing just body weight Dips (had not done for about 3 months - otherwise was absolutely fine even with 60kg weighted Dips before then). I layed off doing Upper workouts for about 3 weeks and saw improvements and I am back doing Upper work but it’s still not fully recovered, what exercises would you recommend? Thank you for this video. It’s helped!

    Bro I got the same shit while doing Shoulder barbell press 3 days back, could just tell me wt should i do to recover asap so that I can hit gym again sooner, its not serious injury but I have pain

    @@black.clover.11 definitely would rest it for 2-3 weeks before you do anything. I was kidding myself into thinking that I was ok and could train around it then perhaps made it worse, and needed 4 weeks off doing any Upper work. I’m having physio now! Got a few sessions for an AC Joint injury, whilst I’ve been training on it now for several weeks I do have slight discomfort whilst doing Cable Chest Flys and couple of other bits but it’s mostly tolerable. I suggest just getting an ice pack on it for 20 mins 3 x per day at least and try and get a good understanding of the type of injury before you do any corrective work, because doing the wrong thing may just delay your recovery or make it worse! Let me know, symptoms wise, I might be able to help.

    ​@@HitenPatel It's really depressing that I can't train for the upcoming few days but now I really do know the importance of recovering. I made the same mistake as u did, trained even if I had pain already. Do you suggest doing any stretches or other exercises for this joint pain recovery otherwise stretching can make it worse??? Thank you so much for ur response, I'll definitely do exercises with the correct form n also with knowing injury risk associated wth it

    I have pain on the scarff test but not at the AC joint, it's more like the lower part of my lateral deltoid like where it connects to the bicep..

Impingement is more typically referred to as rotator cuff related pain now, so can check for that section in the video to see which most closely fits your symptoms!

    Okay but what if I’m doing the scarff test and the pain comes from the other side of the delt? So not closer to the armpit, but in the medial/rear felt area?

    No pain on the first 2 jyst discomfort but intense pain on the last one was in a car accident and cant really hold a milk jug so who knows

    You may have a rotator cuff issue. These issues can overlap when tested. The best is to see a health care professional for a thorough examination.

    Not necessarily. Could just be joint irritation, OA etc. If youve sustained trauma then possibly but we’d advised getting check in person if unsure!

    That's true, but it could be other things causing the hurt/pain. Rotator cuff issues, frozen shoulder, arthritis - they all can present similarly
