the 132$ is actually a good value for the kind of service you get. The steak itself is not cheap, that is some high quality meat, then the (very skilled) chef takes care of you personally for a long time... This is expensive of course, you you aren't getting screwed! It's really worth that price!

Others say it's not. 37 dollars is a lot for one meal. That's more like a treat meal for most people I know. Some will say oh well eat McDonald's. So lame. There's other food that is good that is somewhere in the middle. Lol. People think you either eat 37 dollar steaks or crap. A nice meal for my family the other day was roasted potatoes in the oven, with fresh beets and pork ribs on the grill. Still not cheap for a meal. Ribs were 20 bucks. If I was rich I'm sure I would have bought better ribs but my wife is picky and she even goes wow these are awesome.

@I like Potatoes oh for sure. I know. I love steak and basic cuts at home. A legit steakhouse will run you 50 or more. For sure. Not a fancy steakhouse but last week I went to Texas Roadhouse and got 6 oz sirloin and a BBQ chicken breast for 21-22 I think. Came with a salad and a baked potato. I know that's a good deal. The person I am though deep down though always hates paying that much for a meal. I've always been careful with money because I don't make a lot. I do okay. We own a home and have a family and all that. Idk why I get that way. That and a jack and coke came to 27 and I left 35 bucks. I know that's not bad for all of that. I'm used to eating eggs, tuna and all the clean foods at home for cheap. Long rant here but I get your point.

Couple thoughts from an American who’s never been further out of the country than western BC. First, very interesting that the $37 steak was not at a “sit-down” place. Ordered at the counter. Second... I love the idea of drizzling the hot oil/fat over the steak while it’s cooking. I gotta try that... Unfortunately, I’m watching this at about midnight local, in the midst of covacalypse, and now I’m starving. I think I’m going to have to go see what meat we have in the house, and I’m pretty sure it’s just Spam, and I’m going to have to eat a pound of it. Very entertaining vid.
