Im just happy those E St Louis kids got to travel & get out of that enviornment & see that theres alot of other places in the world to see. They had a phenom Jaylon Mckenzie who would have been on the field for E St Louis tonight but he was murdered in 2019 @ 14 yrs old. Great game to both teams. E St Louis will go back to Illinois & probably win their 10th state title. They have the most wins in Illinois hs football History. I was a California kid that had to move out to the Illinois side of St.Louis my Junior year due to my parents military obligations some of my best friends in life are from E.St.Louis.. Overall its a city of good hardworking ppl & they all treated me like family. Much love everyone

To see kids from East St.Louis IL a place most would be scared to even drive through, to show up & compete with a team like Bosco & have multiple chances to win is incredible. Illinois football don’t get enough credit. ESL, Mount Carmel, St.Rita, Loyola, Cary-Grove, Montini, Sacred Heart Griffin, Crete-Monee, Batavia all produce some athletes!

Back-ups my az...same numbers on the field throughout the game fella, but it does sound good to say after a win...No excuses but when you watch the entire game, you can see that Bosco had the refs sowed up. They walked them into their touchdowns and walked the Flyers backwards...

This was a much better game for Bosco than the one in Virginia. At first it looked like it was going that way. Love Bosco's defense. They swarm quarterbacks and they're so quick.

ESL's QB is legit af. Kid can literally go as far as he wants, whole team played solid, a couple more catches and this is a completely different game.

My favorite all time track athlete is from Eastside......Willie Johnson. He can absolutely fly!!!!!

I seen these East Side games many times in person. These kids from absolute hell. This is their way to a new life. Many of them recognize it and put their full heart into making it out. E STL is by far one of the meanest places in the country. They got federal grants to get the police cars working radios because theirs were broken

The man gave his opinion. Why is it so important to reply to everyone’s comments that feel like we (ESL) could have pulled off the W? We’re you at the game? I was; just got back home. After the game, Bosco fans even said that game could have gone either way. Bosco didn’t put in 2nd string; you’re goofy for even considering that when we were within 9 points in the 4th. We missed opportunities, when Bosco made some big plays along with questionable officiating. The DBs were riding LB3 (number1 receiver in the country) the entire night with no pass interference calls. But, that’s okay, although a top program shouldn’t need the officials helping them out. When the first quarter ended 0-0, the officials went to work.

A bunch of kids in college at power 5 school and a few of them are first and second team all Americans. We also have a 5 ⭐️ DE number 1 in the state number 1 DE in the country 4th overall. We got the number player 5 ⭐️ in the 2023 class. We got about 8 power 5 comments, we also beat up on Damatha a week ago.

Looks like Bosco is a first half team, I noticed that against Miami Central too.. Mater Dei and Servite will beat them. I like this EStl team. Make some adjustments on the offense and they will beat IMG.

That little quarterback from East St. Louis is the kind of player that you could go to battle with. Young man got sacked multiple times by some big boys and kept coming. He made some real good throws that the receivers should have caught. That first touchdown drop at 3:22 was perfectly laid out there as was the drop at 4:07. Receivers have to concentrate. I wish East St. Louis could play them again later, they'll be a much better team.

As a kid I remember the cheers coming from Parsons Field. My dad use to be the quarterback for East Side. I wonder how he felt when he heard the cheers. He got to scholarships to play for a major Texas team.

After watching this game I would not say Bosco is a better football team than estl. They ruled the first half from mistakes and the momentum of scoring first but once estl adjusted it was a whole different story.

How there you. Saint John Bosco and mater- dai take all of the best talent out of the greater LA area which Is way bigger than Miami.. Miami central is closer to Saint Thomas out of Broward County then John Bosco is to Is mater-day. Miami central has to share with American heritage. Saint thomas. Northwestern. .. chaminade. Carol City. Dillard. Gibbons which all can be nationally ranked. South cali is limited with no competition .. You can't name me any of the school that is not in the greater LA area we're talking about.. I give credit to centennial.. But yours cali schools are so garbage that the public schools can't compete.... We don't know if Miami central is even going to go to state because of the competition they go against and the fact that that's not Miami central's best team...... However I already predicted mater-dai a beat John Bosco's .... you know why . Those schools dont habe to complete..

@@billyblanks6883 That's a tough call. TMac's a better route runner with better hands and better hops, for sure. Burden's got that big body that's gonna be perfect for Sundays, though. Burden's undoubtedly got more upside, but yeah, if I needed a first down for the win, I'm going with TMac in 2021.
