Howdy
So here I’ve got my top three most used tools in my shop and three that I very much believe your father or just any guy would like.
They are in order of the best I think as well. The lefty righty tape measure, then the good saw, then the clamps bringing up the rear.
If you’re going to go for one, go for the tape measure. It’s my go to and honestly the only one I ever use anymore.
