If we're being really honest most of the people who seem endlessly creative aren't usually brilliant, but more like... hacks. Sometimes it takes a while to come up with something actually interesting and kind of unique.

You’re absolutely right about that 3rd thing, that I need to learn how to trust myself, but just for a little bit of context, let me share an example of that: In a nutshell, my webcomic project is a science fiction story involving humanity’s first contact with extraterrestrial life, where my protagonist is essentially a “fish out of water” in an alien community, which of course has already been done before countless times, especially Farscape and Guardians of the Galaxy, etc. What makes it difficult to trust myself, is the lack of a unique or original twist to that kind of narrative. Do you know what I mean?

it didn't help me because my problem is not in coming up with a plot but in expressing it through dialogues and story
