Sir can you please break down skillset or fundamental things elite cyber security researchers or hackers(like pwn to own contestants) Because I don't know what they learnt or they got top notch college courses

Fundamentals won’t get you far for Pwn to Own. All those people know the basics, but then they go really really deep in their area of expertise. I’d focus on deciding what expertise you want to have. Hardware hacking? Web applications? Crypto? Then learn as much as possible about that!

I initially like Darknet Diaries, however, I got sick of the endless dumbing down of the content.
