I recommend Albergo Dongo on the north side of the lake (near Switzerland). Delightful and very reasonably priced!

Been to Italy 3 times and Lake Como has been a spot that has been on my bucket list but just never made it there. Our last trip we rented a castle about 30 minutes out of Florence and it was amazing

Traveling there in 5 days and I’ve been watching videos like this for the past week and I must say it is one of the best vlogs about this place. Thanks!

Beautiful location and a great video .

Great video guys, brings back memories of the two days my cousin & I spent there during a 6 day trip to Rome, Como & Milan that we took with a couple of friends about 8 years ago. Unfortunately we didn't get to see much of the towns surrounding Como but we did have a lovely dinner in Belaggio our last night there, & I'll never forget how warm & welcoming the hotel staff were as well as swimming & kyacking in the lake & the amazing boat ride we took round the lake. The scenery there is so beautiful & it's so peaceful that I honestly didn't want to leave.

Sophie D-Hopefully you'll get to go back soon, I really hope I get the chance to go back someday. Along with the Isle Of Skye in my homeland of Scotland, Lake Como is at the top of my list of favourite places I've been to.

Handi Homann hi Handi, we took the train from Munich to Lake Como. It was a very convenient and easy way to travel. But keep in mind that once you get to Lake Como, cabs are hard to come by so have a mode of transportation ready! Our hotel was close enough to the train station that we walked, but it was difficult lugging our luggage through the cobblestone streets. When we departed, we took the bus from our hotel to the train station. People there were friendly and helped us navigate through it all. Hope this helps. Have fun!!

Hello,lovely video & setting :-) may i ask where you get the Ferry to Bellagio I will be going to Como in October 2021,so would like do a full Lake visit & stop over at the top villages around the Lake, Can you please recommend to me what are the best options & most of all where to get the Ferry from Como? Hi Maximo, the ferry stop is right in the middle of town-you can’t miss it. All the cabs, trains and busses stop there. I would recommend downloading a ferry schedule before your trip and plan a full day of making stops at nearby villages along the lake. Super beautiful and enjoyable. Have fun!

We used the local bus and the ferry.

Video and commentary a little misleading - she was saying the ferry arriving in Bellagio was her favourite but the video was actually showing one of the smaller stops and then Varenna.

@@cocsupport We went at the end of May. I recommend downloading and printing the Ferry schedule before you go because Internet access may be spotty when you get there. That way you can plan out your stops ahead of time and then purchase them when you get there. The Hilton was a beautiful property, but not in the heart of town, so you would still have to walk about 15 minutes, or take the bus which stops right outside the hotel.

I don't know what U thought U were doing with your hand when U kept repeating "Como" but Lake Como is NOT Napels or Sicily!

They filmed star wars episode 2 attack of the clones there

Well, on summer the whole main spots of Italy are overcrowded. You can try off season and be lucky with the weather and the nature maybe won't be as beautiful

Very touristy quick version of Como and you didn’t even touch on the most beautiful parts of the Lake. The hidden gems are not covered in this video.

Dont look for Varena or Verana on the map, sorry guys, this is not a perfect job -.-

how do you get you luggage to your hotel? i wanna stay in lake como for two days during my Italy trip but I'll have a heavy suitcase+carry on with me and I'm a petite girl traveling solo so I don't know if its possible..

It’s definitely a valid concern. We had to wheel our luggage about 3/4 of a mile on cobblestone streets to get to our hotel and it was not a relaxing start to the trip! Later we learned that there is a bus stop right outside our hotel and that was a lifesaver. But you would have to ask a local to find out which bus line you need to get closest to your destination. We’ve never been to cernobbio but I would google map it and see if there’s a bus stop nearby and how far away it is from the train station. Good luck and have fun!!
