I use tretinoin. I just added copper peptides by Biossance. I am 67 and just had my first wellness visit and the staff could not believe my age. I exercise, wear hats and sunscreen, I am very careful about sugar and take supplements. I enjoy your videos
1. Vitamin C serum 2. Some sort of peptide serum 3. A retinol serum
You are 59??? Man, you’re lookin great! You look 40! So I subscribed! Rarely find men talking about skin care. You’ve got a lot of accurate & helpful information. Thank you!
Why I didn"t find you before!!!! You are amazing! This is great info. Thank you!!
I love how active you are 👍
You make EVERYTHING so easy to understand 😊
Thank you so much, Chris! I really appreciate the simplicity of your approach. I get overwhelmed by all the info out there.
He is the ironman of skincare love your videos!
Chris, I definitely want to thank you! You’ve been so integral to my skin journey! And I now use all three of these products and it’s really made a difference for my skin 😊
I'm 71, and I am so happy I found you! I love your videos!!!❤
I love my morning and evening skincare rituals. For me it's mostly all about hydration. Mornings routine consists of a couple of essences and a suite of glow recipe products plus vitamin c and snail mucin. At night it is again two creamy essences, the ordinary buffet with peptides, papa recipe blemish serum although I don't have blemishes...
Learn so much from your videos and the products you recommend Chris , thanks 😊

I switched from Deciem Sun Q (being discontinued) to TO Multi-Peptide serum. I’ve been very happy with this switch.
I'm very thankful I found you I'm 51 years old. I'll try your advice godbless
This is so helpful. After watching loads of your videos I was a bit overwhelmed as to where to start and what products to buy. Do you have a video on body moisturisers? Especially for the chest area which is getting pretty crepey with age.
So true! Have been paring down my routine especially during lockdown( with great results) I also love Inky List's Collagen booster that you recommend.

June 8 2023...so grateful I came across this video. I'm new to your channel & have binge watching 😊🎉
I have been using loreal retinol eye night cream all around my eyes. This has helped my dark circles and hooded eyes. Also using ehcerine q10 anti wrinkle sun screen. Love this stuff. Just ordered the vit c 23%, , inky list collagen booster, and alpha renewal serum. Hopefully I'm not overdoing it. I literally went from no skin care routine at at at age 33. Thanks for all the great information.
I love love love your approach!! I watch every video you bring out within minutes of them being released. I agree with all of these after sunscreen!!!!

Using the LaRoche Posay C10 with The Ordinary Buffet and the Olay Retinol 24 as my night routine. I throw on a Cerave ceramide with HA on top to calm it all down. 60 years old. This combo works well for me. I always wonder about which to put on first though.
I agree with you 100% - all 3 are part of my minimalist approach to skincare (but not in the same routine 😉) 💫

Appreciate all your videos! Which order should these be applied in?
I only stumbled across your channel a week or so ago, and I must say, I love the way you are so natural in front of the camera. I cannot believe your age, it's no wonder you are talking about beauty products. Thank you very much I have subscribed.

Love your videos, Chris! So informative. Just want to ask can I use anything else after the Vitamin C serum in the morning? Is it okay to use retinol after applying Ordinary Copper Buffet in the evening? It’ll be a great help if you can tell me that ... Read different kinds of stuff on the internet and have absolutely no idea which one is correct.
I started using a retinol 3 weeks ago and am having peeling. What should I do to exfoliate? Should I back off on the retinol product, add a glycolic acid, or...? Thanks for your advice, I really enjoy your channel and feel like I learn so much!
Thanks for the advice on how to streamline what I need!

Great video again! Could you discuss collagen - the peptides we drink vs. the peptides we put on our skin? I don't know how they interact - if they do. If you are drinking collagen do you still need to put it on your skin etc. THX!

I love this channel. I have been using Mychelle unscented polypeptide cream. Plus, my trusty trentinoin! I also have vitamin C eye patches from derma-E that I love. I’ve been using Coola body sunscreen and coco kind facial sunscreen. I love the Ordinary brand and always have at least one of their products in rotation. I’m using their vitamin C in silicone and their azaelic acid on alternating days. And the Ordinary glycolic acid toner absolutely makes me glow. :)

Thank you Chris for the list and explanations of these products to simplify a skin routine !! I am new to your channel and am finding it very informative and helpful. I use some of these products already but I need direction on what to use and when. One question - when do you apply your sunscreen? Before or after your skincare products? 😊
Love your videos! What sunscreen for face?
Mmmmm, that’s a doubling too. It’s all about A B & C. A (retinoids) can be problematic for a lot of people (dry flaky skin, not suitable for pregnant women etc.) so it could be exchanged for a good peptide + bukachiol serum. So basically vitamin C, a mix of vitamin B3 and B5 (panthenol), a good retinoid or peptide + bukachiol serum 🤫
Interesting , and thank you. I follow hot and flashy on here and use her routine. Timeless vitamin c, the ordinary lactid acid 10%, cereve pm and elta md sunscreen then curology in evenings and cereve pm Love the results. Was thinking about trying the ordinary vitamin c you mentioned because of the price point

I love it because it's a stronger formula vitamin c serum with the 23% L ascorbic acid and I tolerate it well. ❤
Thanks Chris. So I still feel some information overload watching all your videos. If I have oily skin, do I follow your plan for that or the recommendations in this video?
Thanks
Kamusta? I'm a new subscriber from the Philippines : ) Thank you for your videos. I learn a lot on what to do and what to put to improve my skin. I'll follow and keep watching your videos. Mabuhay ka! May God bless you ❤
I need help on what kind of moisturizer treatments to do in the morning or routine I am 60 years old I am overwhelmed
Thank you. I seem to be allergic to Vitamin C serums. Chris...do you have any other suggestions? I can use the "Buffet" with Copper peptides for sure. I can also use Retin A without a problem. Thank you.
'Skincare Rehab'! 😂 There's something you can start as well! Thank you. 🙏
I use Vitamin C Serum with Peptide (Olay), Hyaluronic, and moisturizer with 30 SPF in the morning. In the evening, I use retinol, I prefer Olay, but Loreal or Roc is on sale I will buy those and a night time moisturizer. I also spritz my face with rose water.
I love Truth Treatment 5% retinol gel. It's expensive, but I've had mine for 8 months now and have used maybe 1/8th of a jar. I have found that I only need to use it once a week. It's great and I've notice a marked difference.

Very good product ingredient choices!👍
💜💜💜 this- Silly question - I find it hard to get a decent Vitamin C. What’s ur view in breaking down dissolvable vitamin c tabs (1000mg) and just mixing it in with a stable no fragranced moisturiser??
I’m gonna say the three skin care must haves are; sun safe stuff (hat, clothes, sunscreen), balanced and varied diet (with adequate hydration, low sugar, low chemical additives) and regular gentle exercise. What you are talking about isn’t skin care it’s skin topical nutrition, every thing you mentioned is applied topically and contains vitamins or nutrients.
All of your videos are so helpful, but I don’t know what order to put the products on? Wash, moisturize that’s all I know. When do you do the serums?
...Also naturium retinol. Moisturizer would consist of tatcha dewy night cream or Peter Thomas Roth moisturizer or Naturium marshmallow root moisturizer. My face has no idea that it's dry lol
I was guessing vitamin C, retinol and sunscreen. But I do like my peptides and hydraulic acid.
Hi Chris ☺️ just found you and your great video 👍 You mention sunscreen is essential in which I have used it since my teens. You may have a video to highlight when to apply. Is it after or on top of the vit C serum and peptides. Obviously not with retinol for you mentioned that's for night time use. So vit C serum followed by peptide serum followed by sunscreen??? Thanks 🙏🏻
Yes, thank you! I reduced my routine a few weeks ago to only 3 things in the morning ( which definitely includes a Vit C serum and moisturizer and sunscreen at night it’s just a Retinol product and moisturizer.. I would like to maybe add a peptide, but really can’t figure out when I put that on?
@CHRISGIBSONLIVE

You have this right. I answered your vitamin c question in your other comment but it depends on the vitamin c product and what other ingredients are in the formulation. In the case of The Ordinary vitamin c 23% suspension, Peptides first.
Chris - how do you use peptides vit c and retinoids in a day’s routine? Retinoids at night I get. Vit C in am but when or how do you layer the peptides?
that reduces things a lot.

I am glad it was helpful!
would you recommend using the ordinary peptide with deminuage ?
Hi. A bit off topic but what's the best skin bleaching cream to get certain areas of my body really white? Thank you. 😊
4! sunscreens
What about the moisturiser and eye cream from Olay in the same retinol range. My local shop doing a deal on all three? 😳
Ive been on the fence about retinol. I’m 65 and obviously show signs of aging. I’m not to the point of getting prescription retinol so I’m going with your recommendation of the Olay Retinol 24 Night Serum.

I love it!!!been using about a week now, and skin is getting so soft,,,, and glowy...by the way, I am 52...
hi Chis, i am a Mary kay user, timewise to be exact. it consists of a 4 in 1 cleanser, a day cream, a night cream. I also use a mask and an eye cream. If i add these 3 products to my regiment, where do i put them in my process? and do I use all three of these daily?
Do u think differin gel gives you as good results as retinol?
I think you are on to something with the "Skincare Rehab Centers". (You should probably patent that idea. Not even kidding.) I am 65, I come from the generation that pretty much abused our skin. A lot of laying in the sun and tanning, and putting stuff on our faces? Not so much. I have seen a lot of women my age on KZread who are struggling to explain the reason that we are late to the game. We weren't taught by our moms about skincare. In the 70's, if anyone recalls, the hippie/grunge thing was born. (Not me, just to be clear.) They didn't even bathe or wash their hair very often! So now I'm here trying to make sense of all these products, ingredients, potions and lotions. So thank you for the service you provide to educate us. It's never too late, that's what I am told. And if it's too fussy, I can tell you that I won't bother with it. Ain't nobody got time to live in their bathroom. The video was very helpful. Answering your question, I've tried so much. I find my favorite thing is Morgan Miller Retinol and Vitamin A Facial Oil, 1.01 oz, for $16.50. The price keeps climbing on this product, but I'll continue to buy it. Is it making me look 20 years younger? No. But it does improve the condition of my skin. I had oily skin and acne for many years, so I can't even believe I am putting oil on my skin now. However, my skin is not dry now, nor oily, and this simply feels good when I apply it. I don't wear makeup, foundation, that kind of thing. For a special occasion, I might wear a BB cream. I just love this oil, I wear it pretty much every other day. Another thing that helped me is an estrogen cream and progesterone cream from Source Naturals, paraben free. It's out of stock OFTEN on Amazon. After trying many different retinol, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide....my face did not feel better. If anything, it made the wrinkles more prominent. My face felt dry. The very first day I applied this stuff, I felt like a human again. I couldn't stop touching my face. I'm supposed to apply twice a day, 1/4 tsp. But like I said, that's fussy. It's an every other day occurrence for me. And I am happy now with my face care routine. What speaks volumes is how I feel inside, not only how I look on the outside. And you are 59?? You sure aren't showing it.
What do you think of Oneskin?
Chris I love you but I have to say my 3 must haves are a good exfoliator, cleanser and moisturizer and used in that order

They really so have some good products.
I wash my face with Sheisado Honeycake soap, moisturizer (Olay) with sun screen and never ever go to bed without washing my face. My skin is smooth, I’m 70years old. Been using the Honeycake since I was 19. That’s it. Heredity does play a part, my grandmothers and mother were dark skinned, smooth and unlined into their 80s. My skin is fair
What’s the order which I can use these products?
Can all of these products be applied to the under eye? My under eye is my main focus
Hi Chris, your content is really helpful! I can't help but notice that your hair has not turned grey or white, which is surprising for someone in their 50s. Do you dye it? Yes you can, it's a good but powerful product . You want to do a patch test with it - but you should be fine. I have very senstive skin and it has been great for me. Select a small area of skin that's easy to conceal, like your forearm. Apply a small amount of product and wait 24 hours. If no side effects occur, you can apply to your face. Discontinue use if you develop a rash, redness, or hives.
