We have to look at things realistically. People are getting married so much later in life. When the bible was written People married in thier mid teens. It is much harder on a young couple today. I'm 60 yrs old married at 18 and it was hard I did sleep with my wife before we were married. As I believe most people have. But saying that God's word is true forever. But God also forgives people and knows your heart. People struggle and try. If they are saved they will endure and God will use them. Like He used every sinful person in The Bible from Abraham to Peter. So if you are struggling have hope Jesus overcame the grave.

I did too, I cheated first then he found a girlfriend and kicked me and the 3 kids out. I faced 50yrs in prison for something I didn’t do, it’s because I broke my promise to God. I prayed for forgiveness of my adultery and promised not to act on it again, and I failed. It took me facing 50yrs in prison for something I didn’t do for me to fall to my knees and cry out to God what had I done to deserve that. He answered and thus my marriage of 16yrs ended. HE delivered me from my pain of the separation and of my childhood pain and I was REBORN IN CHRIST AT 34.

The bible says to look upon a woman you already committed adultery in your heart. So the enemy entices by the lust that inside of you. (Also), If married couples withhold sex from one another, it allows the enemy to use another woman or man to fulfill the sexual needs that the spouse is not doing in the marriage. Christian couples need to get better in this area so that tempting snare doesn't come in the marriage.

I just recently found out my 64 yr old father had an affair with my 28 yr old gf when we were together 5 yrs ago. He got her pregnant. And for the last 5 yrs they’ve been lying and pretending their daughter was mine. Now this poor little innocent girl thinks I’m her father, and I just found out that I’m not her father, and in fact she’s my half-sister. I don’t know why God is putting me and this poor little girl through this real-life nightmare, this real-life hell. But, I do know one thing, my now 69 yr old father and my now 33 yr old ex gf are both going to burn in hell after this life, that much I’m pretty confident on. I guess vengeance and justice is God’s right? So, guess I’ll have to take comfort in knowing He will hand out His justice when He sees fit. Oh btw speaking of sexual sin, my ex also slept with my little sister’s fiance and my 4 life-long best friends. Just as a nice kicker to the story to really drive the evil point home.

Man I am so sorry to hear of what you’re experiencing, I can’t imagine the hurt, betrayal and confusion. This is a hard time in your life, but I pray God will give you the strength to be the bigger man and make it through this time. The Bible indeed talks about how anyone who does evil (any sin big or small) is deserving of Hell. But at the same time, anyone who puts their trust in Jesus and turns from their sin can be forgiven. I say that to tell you that as hard as it may be to forgive what they’ve done, God commands us to forgive those who have done us wrong because he has forgiven us of our own sins. The Bible says that if we don’t forgive others their sins against us, God will not forgive our sins against him. So I encourage you to not let hatred build up in your heart against them. Allow God to deal with their hearts, but the only way he can do that is if you surrender them and this situation to God through forgiveness. I know from my own experiences that holding on to unforgiveness and bitterness will eat you alive. But if you ask God to help you forgive them, he will give you the strength (even if you have to do it with tears in your eyes). Healing takes time, but forgiveness is what starts the process in your own heart. ❤️🙏 I will be keeping you and this situation in prayer and I pray your ex and father will repent and change their ways before it’s too late. It's like you're talking right to me. I've been feeling dead, worthless, hopeless and tired for so long. I don't even know why I get up in the morning anymore. I did give my life to Christ many years ago but it seems like such a long memory ago now. I'm tired, I'm weak and don't know what to do anymore. In my case open confession and thought shifting were a start. Actively practicing being a loving person ultimately changed my thoughts for the better! Now I have fleeting bad thoughts that don't get out of hand. LOVE NEVER FAILS!

" PUT ON immortality." 1 Corinthians 15:53. The Bible tells us the Holy Spirit clothes us. How do you clothe yourself? You have to put it on.

Context is key in understanding this teaching. All sin is not the same in God's eyes when it comes to earthly consequences. HOWEVER, all sin is the same in context of salvation. Lying and murder is at the same level when it comes to salvation. Both are worthy of eternal separation from God without the atonement by the blood of Christ. With that said, while on earth the consequences for lying are not as severe as the consequences of murder. This is important to note or people get confused by this paradoxical statement.

Jesus Christ went to the cross and now lives to set sinful us free from death and eternal condemnation. Repent and turn your heart to Him before it's too late. If He's calling your heart today, say yes! But count the cost--it will cost you everything, but the rewards are real and worthy.

Acts 2:38 is still God's plan of salvation. One way for all people. We can't pick and choose which scriptures we like or dislike. Eternity is way too long to leave this earth and be wrong.

I struggled with lust and porn addiction it led to an adulterous affair and brought me to a living hell! The Lord restored me!
