Hi Febby, thanks for your video, I did watch it from beginning to the end. I was a SQ crew for 6 years and left at COVID time. One of the reasons that I made a decision to leave is crew members like to gossip and wasting time on the things that are not even relevant to you. So I wanted to quit and started a new chapter focusing on my own career progression. So I am in Japan and I am a recruiter.

hey! thanks for sharing your journey and experience. I resonate with what you said - I actually mentioned this exact same reason in another video where I talked about the dark side of flying. good for you for going after what you are passionate about - that is awesome :)

I participated in extensive training to be a flight attendant. One of the speakers was a Lufthansa employee (a lady), with many years working as a flight attendant. When you mentioned the lavatory full of poop it reminded me of her. She said it's not the flight attendant's job to clean up in this type of situation, although we know that in certain practical situations things can be so extreme that we need to do something. I'm glad you didn't have to clean up that mess. Another horrible situation is vomiting. I don't know if you've experienced this type of case onboard a flight. Any very famous artists on any of your flights? Or even someone you truly admired coming onboard.

OMG I can't believe the poop incident is something that was discussed in your training as well! agree that it could be a tricky situation. as for vomiting - it's unfortunately something that happens way more often, we even have a proper kit on every plane (and were trained on how to use it)... I don't have lots of luck when it comes to meeting celebrities 🥲 someone I remember meeting was Manny Pacquiao who's a professional boxer. it's memorable because he's got the entire production crew filming him while he onboarded my flight lol

@@febbylyan Yes, the Lufthansa lady mentioned this. She told us just to lock the door and direct pax to other lavatories! Pacquiao is the famous Filipino boxer, right? I remember reading a book of a female flight attendant who had actor Cary Grant onboard. She wrote on her book that she loved him so much, she got there in the galley admiring Grant from the distance! None of her co-workers knew him so it was a very lonely situation for her!

I have no idea actually - this sounds like a quick question you could ask the recruitment team when you submit the form they gave you. all the best - hope you clear the BMI round soon!

The first story is absolutely disgusting and you were the attendant who had to discover it! Having deportees on board must be stressful.

I know right?! 🤢 ya most of the time deportees were being deported because of visa issues so that's still fine, but for the incident I shared in this video, it was pretty intense yes!
