    Hey sorry if this offends you but when you were describing you penis as a bent straw. It reminded me of family guy season16 ep19 when Peter is trying to back a boat into a lake. It'll give you a good laugh. Much love, stay happy.

    @vapor man yes it was originally for that purpose, but then was successfully used for trans men in gender affirmation surgery. The technique has come a very long way since that time and is now highly successful giving many trans people like myself, the ability to feel comfortable in our own skin at last and happy.

    @vapor man Of course surgery isnt comfortable. But the end result is worthwhile for the pain and discomfort. I am at the end of my surgical journey and am very happy now. And, I pee fine thank you! I can aim my stream like any man and dont piss on the floor at all! May I suggest that you listen to the actual people who are having this surgery rather than your research!

    when you were talking about the pure panic and dysphoria moment you had you were with Chris was heartbreaking to hear, but at the same time, i think you did a good job explaining that internal mindset. even though my dysphoria impacts me differently than your dysphoria impacts you (in part because i am ace), i really resonated with the way you described the panic and ensuing shutdown. glad to hear you’re okay and that Chris was able to be there for you so well. :) happy three months.

    I agree. This is the first time I've heard someone describe dysphoria in this way that I really relate to and it makes me feel a lot better. The feeling that you can't talk about your negative thoughts because they'll make the other person think those things too is so relatable and horrible

    I really appreciate you sharing your story of extreme dysphoria in bed. I’ve had that experience several times in different degrees and although i was fortunate enough to have an understanding partner at the time, the feelings and stream of thoughts and phrases going through myself scared the absolute shit out of me. i’m so relieved to know i’m not alone and i don’t need to be scared of myself.

    Hi Finn, although I'm not trans, I'm a 'one off' with a prosthetic nut following testicular cancer. I'm not sure if it's the same sort of implant, but just to reassure you, mine was incredibly uncomfortable for a good year or so and was riding quite high, and sometimes had to sleep with half a duvet stuffed in between my legs to stop in from feeling crushed. But then it just seemed to soften and I'm nowhere near as conscious of it now, even though it's still fixed high. I'm not sure if I've made friends with my implant but we mutually share the same body. haha!

    Amazing video. You're such an open person as it is, and you've come so far even more so with people in your inner circle as far as letting people in and seeing even more of who you are as a person. Even what appears like 'irrational feelings' are extremely valid too, because they're just part of the process of growing in to ourselves. You can really tell that Chris knows this process like the back of his hand, and you can tell that you love yourself enough to have chosen such a loving and supportive person as a partner. He really has a lot of respect for you too, you can tell from his videos with you. One of the unique things about your relationship is that Chris doesn't need to break down necessarily what it means to be transgender in order to be there for you at the core of things, because he loves you, which is what you said, and is so true. I'm sure that same thing can be said of you, when it comes to cis related things and if he is in a tough spot. You just know that you love him and will be there for him. I'm so proud of the strides you've taken. You are inspiring and a genuine Teacher of how it is to live authentically. You're videos give me hope for a better world where there is more understanding between people xxx

    Thank you so much for sharing the experience you had with Chris. I can only imagine how it'd feel in that situation. I've had my sister tell me before I transitioned that I'd "never be a real man" that I "would just be a mutilated woman" and that hurtful sentence has stuck through my entire transition whenever I am dysphoric. I worry I will get flashbacks to that day or all the days where sex went terribly wrong due to dysphoria, if I ever had anything not go quite the way I expected, like similar to what you experienced.

  • @FinnTheInfinncible

    @FinnTheInfinncible

    5 жыл бұрын

    I had similar said to me, that I would never find a partner, would never be accepted, etc. These do stick in our heads and take a while to go. On the whole, I rarely get these thoughts now and this experience with Chris was a shock as it really was a return to some seriously dysphoric days. Still, as uncomfortable as it was, at the same time, I didn't actually believe the thoughts, so yes it was awful but equally, helped me to see that I have come so far. A few years ago that would have sent me running for a bottle of wine or a razor blade. I think it's important to do things with someone you trust, I trust Chris completely and so I was safe when this happened. In fact it brought us closer.

    The good news is you’re not going through anything (well besides the transition and what comes with that, pun not intended;) ) that a new couple or a bunch of virgin kids go through when they have sex for the first time. (I blacked out the first time with my husband because I was so terrified I was not living up to his expectations) Like you said it just takes patience and learning about your body and your partners. You totally got this and you’re so fortunate you are experiencing these things with a loving partner and not as a confused teen with a slew of immature and insecure partners. I don’t think any of us would do that over again! Lol Good luck sweetie, lots of love your way! 🖤

    Not to be personal. But I’m considering this surgery and I was wondering if you think that first attempt would have been easier with a woman? My girlfriend is pretty understanding. Also, again not to be too personal but how long (in your opinion) before you can receive oral. And do you think it would be something to look forward to or is it not all too great given the circumstances?

    We are lucky in the UK that our NHS coverage recognises our need for surgery. The waiting list is long but you will get there!

    Babe ! Practice makes perfect. It's the same with two virgin people having sex, one doesn't know exactly what to do or how to do it ( I know dysphoria makes it more more difficult). But practice will make it fine :)
