Hey Amit I keep coming back to these vids. Anyway, no worries about the grafts...because you actually can't scratch or rub them off past 10 days. They're so super stuck and connected to Epidermis that you would actually need doctor remove them surgically. Its quite literally not possible to either scratch them or rub them off. Those that you got are just some little hairs most likely lower quality so the scalp/your skin pushed them after Telogen ended and now newer ones are in for growing which are going to be thicker by far. Just a stuff to know: every single follicle has a different hair cycle. Literally every single one. That is why you see unewen growth in various areas of the head.

Looking good, Amid. You have more than I at 3 months out. Now that I'm 8 months out, I can confirm that the growth will really start to excel at the 4th month & it maybe uneven at first but then it will fill in at different rates to even out. I also take Saw Palmetto ( 900mg/day) & Biotin (10,000/day) , plus I also give my hair a 1 minute wash with "Hims" thicken shampoo, towel dry & then apply 5% Minoxidil just before bedtime. Thanks for the 3 month up date. Best wishes!

Very nice result Amit, its easily spotted that it grows and grows. The hair is sprawling out, its really amazing. My HT is scheduled in early November this year, and I can't wait. I'm in for 5500 grafts, but the good thing is that my donor area is so incredibly dense as I have about 27.000 hair folicules there and my doctor told me that he can extract at least 50% of the total which is kinda amazing. My donor is super strong, but i'm also Norwood 5 to 6ish so I really hope I'll get some good results. Anyway, thanks for the in depth information, fingers crossed for you as it looks really really good. Keep it up and thanks for keeping us updated on everything regarding the HT :)) Big ups from Budva, Montenegro

When you send them your images initially, they will take a few days to assess and send you a mock up of what they think is the best solution for you. After words, when you do go down to the clinic, they will do a refresher with you and the doctor, and if you're happy with that, then they will proceed accordingly

I'm glad you're enjoying my videos and that it's helpful and informative for you! That's amazing that you're planning your hair transplant in the coming months! As for choosing a clinic, you have to go with what you feel is best for yourself. I chose Vera because I did my own research on them and checked testimonials, others who went, and even spoke to the consultation asking very detailed questions before finally deciding on them. I did the same thing with a few other places but unfortunately not the other place you mentioned. If you do decide to go with Vera, I have a link in the description of the video that you can book a free consult with them and they should be able to answer all the questions you have. No matter what though at the end of the day, i would suggest you choose the clinic you will be the most comfortable with and they give you the confidence that your transplant will be done right.

that's strange! Usually finasteride is recommended to keep your previous hairs (unless you had very minimal). And minoxodil should be used on areas you want more growth from excluding the transplanted areas. I would suggesting using them as they are both key factors in maintaining your hair after a hair transplant!

Hi Amit. I got my hair transplant done at Vera clinic last Tuesday. It’s been 5 days and my face is all swollen and blotchy. My head feels extremely heavy and numb, it’s so uncomfortable. Please kindly advise if this is normal and how long would it take for the swelling on my face to fully subside. Most importantly when would I be able to get some sensation on my head? It’s so difficult to simply not think about it. I can’t feel my head much at all on both the receipt and donor areas. Will I get my senses back? I still can’t move my head and be mobile. Would really appreciate it if you could lemme know if this is normal and was something you experienced as well. Thanks.

First of all, congrats on getting your hair transplant! Youre on your way to having a full head of hair in no time :D As for the heavyness and numbess, it is completely normal to feel this way. i remember my first week was very uncomfortbale, but after all, you did just have surgery, so naturally there will be lots of discomfort. The swelling, for me, went away after around 3 weeks to a month. There is nothing to worry about, just made sure you are taking your medications on time as that will help reduce the swelling as well. The numbess fades after a while longer though. I think for me after the 2nd month was when I got most of my feeling sensations back, so do not worry, its all part of it. Trust the process!

Hi Amit. Really nice and informative videos about your hair transplant journey. I recently booked a date with Vera clinic ( end of November this year). They are recommending about 4000 grafts in my case. When it comes to the doctor who performs the graft placements, is there any recommendation from your end? They basically said I can decide which doctor I prefer to go with and they will book a date with him. I’m not sure whom to go with though. Does that make much difference though?

Hoenstly when I went, I thought it would've been done by the doctor but instead for me it was done by technicians. I personally was not given a choice, it all sorts just happened. But of course, if you can choose then thats great! My assumption though is that if you are trying to book the doctor your dates may be pushed further as I'm sure others are trying to do the same. But from my experience, getting it done by the doctor or technician are both fine as the technicians are still being instructed by the doctor on what to do.
