Yo :) Thanks for this tips. Voxengo is Amazing ! Do u know we are able to Zoom in the plugin, with a simple CTRL + Left Click on the window (CTRL + Double Click to Dezoom)? And also you can band pass EQ you're Listening with CMD + Left Click on mac, so cool feature !

Your tuts are actually gold!!! Just wana ask some dumb questions.. hope u dont mind.. how do I tell if my tracks are too compressed through span? like by checking the signals are too low? and how do I see if my frequencies are clashing? Lasly, my span spectrum are like spikey as hell, and every frequencies are kinda like spking out, which doesnt look like how Kompany's spectrum is, like his is very smooth... sorry for the bad questions... anyway, love ur stuffs!

Hey that’s a great question. As far as too compressed is your track a wall of sound or does it have variation in your dynamics. If it’s a brick wall I would probably dial it back on compression. How to tell if anything is clashing? Well the most important thing is making sure you have no low end from anything that isn’t a sub (sub is usually separate). You can do this by grouping the synths that don’t need low end and cut out 100-120 hz with a high pass and that way your track won’t sound muddy. Another thing about clashing, if you have a sustain usually it sits in a certain frequency, say that’s 1000 hz. If I later that over more basses I know that sound at 1000hz is occupied so I’ll dip out that area with an eq in my supporting basses. Also you could have your spam refresh at a faster rate. Or it could be that you have a lot of resonance or uncompressed stuff that is coming through your master. Hope that helps.
