You're right, they're like most people today in that they don't care about anything but themselves. Firemen and policemen are people so there is no needs to herald their safety over that of the other people you already said had been put into harms way. It is a lie that firemen and policemen have dangerous occupations... quite the contrary. In fact, MOST of their decisions are based on protecting themselves even if it means others lose their lives. Stop using Hollywood as your source of information about the real world you live in.

@@cdjxman You seem to be making a political statement about the need for police. Who argues against the need for police and the justice system? You do realize you went straight from police to jail... no due process necessary? Here's the thing: You can be in support of the police and justice AND, simultaneously, require strict adherence to the laws and Constitution they swore to uphold while EARNING A HANDSOME SALARY. Too many police just collecting a paycheck and not doing what is required of someone in that position with the power of arrest and permission to use deadly force WHEN NECESSARY.

It's lucky they weren't very bright, though. They placed the package where the security cameras had good line of sight and in front of a large crowd of witnesses. I suppose they thought they could maximize damages and casualties by placing the fireworks between two lanes of fireworks, but it's curious they'd risk being seen like that if they wanted to really cause mayhem. Shows this may have been a spur of the moment inspiration that thankfully did not succeed.

So when youre pulled over for speeding, you should be charged for attempted murder of every pedestrian you passed and "could of" hit? Not defending them, but it's tiring to see such emotional reactions all the time. Yes people could've been hurt and property damaged, but it didn't happen. Thankfully. Also, read the statute for attempted murder. This is no where even remotely close to it.

  • @cartertwowheels3358

@@governmentghost01 manslaughter is exactly what it would be. Yes you do get charged for manslaughter if you're driving dangerously or racing on a public road and kill someone. Although completely different circumstances with speeding it would need to be proven that you lost control of your vehicle or that your actions caused the accident. As pedestrians often don't look while crossing roads etc. More a time and place thing. I don't speed often but if I do it's on quiet country roads with no schools shops houses or sidewalks (this massively reduces the number of people and cars) to be fair most of these roads are too twisty to exceed the limit anyway. Lighting an explosive and dumping it in a room full of explosives and people hmmm. I don't know a single person who hasn't exceeded the speed limit. I also don't know anyone who has done what this kid did. I hope I never do.

At one point you see a person leaping from the burning building, hair 100% engulfed in flames. That video needs to been seen at least once, to get a freaking appreciation of the fire code, what “crush” looks like, and why over packing a building above max capacity is a BAD idea. Look up “The Coconut Grove” and “The Iroquois Theater Fire”. The Iroquois changed theater fire safety forever, and the Coconut Grove changed restaurant and small venues fire standards as well. The fire code is not written in ink, it’s written in blood.

My thought exactly. If I saw fireworks going off inside the fireworks store, Ima run like I'm on fire already.

Never thought I’d hear myself say this but… just stick the damn fireworks in your pocket or hide on your person.. potentially blowing up the entire block for $200 fireworks is mind boggling. (Cops will catch you either way ;))

If every firework in the store went off it would barely mess up the building. It's not leveling an entire city block. It's not a bunch of c4. There isn't that much explosive force in an end product.

I mean tbh, most serious crimes go unsolved and most misdemeanor offences are just ignored altogether these days Can't really depend on the police these days. But yeah, it was pretty damn stupid what they did. If they are caught, I hope they get some serious time.

Much praise to those men who tried to put the firework out! And the guys who planned this will get SERIOUS prison time. Arson is a horrible crime.

ARSON is exactly the correct word for these fools! They are arsonists and I do agree that arson is a very serious criminal act. Hope they lock those idiots up for a long time!
