I went to my manager today, I needed to go on a medical check tomorrow. She used to be ok with it, but now she went to the other manager's office to give him notice, like I was daring, this is how it felt. Everyone else could do it, but they make a big deal for me. So he said something not offensive, like "for real" but his tone of voice was offensive, passive aggressive, like the children at school who dislike a teacher and make remarks. Well I said, why would you use that tone, and he told me it was not what I said, but I know it was. I should have stopped at that time, because what we said was unproductive, it was them trying to tell me that their dislike of my ways has anything to do with my capability and it doesn't. I am also happy or was happy at this place, and I think I could have given support to some people and learn from each other, but they wanted to treat me badly.

I got gaslit by a woman who would act hurt and even start to cry a little if I made a suggestion how something could be done differently or better. Or if a proposal was impractical. Her eyes would tear up and she would tell me I just didn't understand what she'd been through with this job, etc. etc. I felt like I was walking on eggshells and obvi stopped making suggestions for improvement.

Sounds like gaslighting to me. Weaponizing her fragility.

No lovebombing ever with my boss...lol... hated me from the get go. His boss hired me and I suspect he didn't want me hired. He avoids me mostly. Never even got a tour of the workplace. When his daughter was hired... he's not her boss... she got a personal tour and is in her office quite often. Then his son in law got hired, too!
